Sometimes if I encounter a FT with exploits or just being a bunch of bitches and annoying fucks, I usually taunt them to hell. It’s really funny because they often lose since they can’t kill me or find me in time. And then this angry ass grown man rages lmao.

The Predator in this game is not the hunter, but the prey. Even the game narrative confirms it; Stargazer and OWLF objectives are the hunt and capture of Yautjas on planet Earth. 5 years after the game has been released people still believe the opposite. Even with all the narrative on movies showing how humans end up victorious against them. Humans, as a group, are just better hunters than yautjas, because there is no such thing as honor among humans. We hunt for the thrill, the adrenaline rush, or simply the viciousness of showcasing power and dominance. And going against a more powerful foe? uff… it just makes it even more addictive.
Playing FT couldn’t be further away from being scary. Playing the predator is the true horror show.

Playing with randoms as Fireteam and having to reinforce the whole squad back, that’s about as close as it gets to ‘dread’ for me now when playing. Waaaaay back at launch when everything was fresh the game had such an atmosphere about it, they really nailed the 87 movie vibe. Getting stalked by a competent Pred player was a thrill.

Just had that last night, ran into a player called Mr Lift. I could hear the guy the entire freakin’ time, even ran into him. He circled me as well lmfao.
These are facts. I have more “fear” and anxiety playing as Pred than I do FT. For all the years I’ve played, all the matches, all the tricks and combos and shit I can do to make Pred as strong as possible, I still worry when I load up into the jungle, especially when i see names I know or classes that I know will be problematic. Illfonic has doubled down, split, and double downed again on their lore of Preds being the hunted, not the hunter, and every update makes this more clear.
