Scout needs more gear points

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who thinks this but scout class should be able to carry more gear than he currently does. Personally, the same amount as Beserker.
Now this is just my opinion but with the scout class having so little HP it forces you to play him from a ranged standpoint. And while I know that is the smartest way to play FT will alway win in a ranged battle.
However, if scout is allowed to carry more gear it allows you to choose a different approach. Of course not to just run in. But to actually set traps and audio decoys. Currently, how small it is you can only take health kits and no one is dumb enough to substitute that for something else.
I just think the scout class who is literally in charge of tracking down the prey should be able to carry more gear. Especially to balance the fact that it’s HP is so low.

I don’t know. I’m a bit split on this.

I agree and disagree.

I run a Scout with traps and no heal, did great but I was on high alert for boars, at quarter health i disengaged and relocated. Bow and Plasma cannon only till the last two.

I also had the gear +1 use so had an extra bear trap and the time I did have heals I had three.

I think a small movement change, just a bit faster, could help or reduced noises/clicks/heavy steps.

Keeping with speed and low armor/weight I think it should only bring one other item if so. More than that I feel runs the risk of giving him too much over other classes.

I can agree with that. My only problem is the scarcity of boars around the map. But I would definitely take reduced noise on most of the things that give the predator away. Especially since it’s a scout class.

All the predators need audio cue reductions, they can hear us before we can see them

Last update 1.06 changed this and does it look clear to a worse 8 point gear? That’s a joke. Have only one medic syringe and nothing else? When gear points are missing and you have stupidly lowered them?
Ammunition box or medic pack for 5 points and injection 4 points = 9 points! And now she’s only 8? Are you serious?
