There are bad cops and things should change to fix the culture. If you take away their guns, they’ll just st leave the job as it is very dangerous even if they have guns. A world without cops will be much worse than how things are now. People might not respect them, but they fear them (and not just because of guns), and that keeps the order, more or less.

Like today. I was at my local Walmart and a clearly mentally unstable and clearly on the spectrum Black man was having an episode. Idk what started it but it was in my way of getting into Walmart so I was forced to watch.

As the police showed up the first they did was draw there weapons as they were getting out of the car.

So yeah they need to have restrictions on ammunition and how they can unholster there weapons. Because now a days a white cop sees a P.O.C haveing any type of issues they are automatically in fear for there lives. Something is not right here.

I was asked if I wanted to become a cop once.

I said yeah. I would be that good cop that shot bad cops in the back if they did something wrong and man the glare I got from the Cop on Career day was hilarious

I’m all for non lethal ammunition/weapons. I can’t believe we don’t have something new for so long. I mean, there’s definitely money to be made here as every cop in the world could use non-lethal firearms.

Shotguns are used at close range. This might be comical, but they should have netguns.

I think light translucent bulletproof shields would be a good idea too in certain situations.

I dont know what really changed in these terms in the last 20 years, but seemingly nothing.

Lets go into business. We will start a weapons firm that specializes in non-lethal ammunition.

A net gun that is also a tazer. Boom no more shooting crack heads because they too strung up to feel the tazer. Now they are netted and getting tazed.

Shields with the ability to shoot pepper spray out the front at 100 psi.

Cop cars with electrified front bumpers to disable cars with a bumper touch.

The options are endless

This is a bit wack but I was thinking about something along the lines of low impact expanding foam if it’s possible to have a bullet form. Or maybe some high frequency wave sniper rifles to disorient at a distance. It’s science fiction, but that’s how it starts when you balance fantasy and reality.
