So you glow … can’t leap consistently or without bugs… can’t defend yourself… can’t climb trees … take forever to heal… and make tons of noise as you heal …it’s been months how have none of those issues been addressed…

Seriously, second wind is supposed to hurt. You should try to avoid it if at all possible. You shouldn’t be trading second wind for a quick claim. You should learn when to engage and when not to. Git gud.

Second Wind is meant for the player to escape. You’re supposed to run and you’re not supposed to get into it in the first place unless you want to self-destruct.
Leaping in of itself is problematic given you can be stopped short by foliage and rocks but look before you leap and plan engagements.

second wind means you’re on the verge of death.
It’s an unrealistic expectation to think he would be walking with the same pep in his step after being shot God knows how many times.
Even Predator has his limits.

You should still be able to wristblade a boar, like that would seem instinctual when close to death? There’s a source of health, slice it so you have something to come back to after you’ve healed. If I can manage to buy a kebab after getting shitface paryletic on whiskey, pretty sure a Yautja could kill a boar while in second wind…and maybe increase the health regen to say 65%? So you have a better chance of escaping those pesky FT who hunt you down.
I mean… You can literally jump across the map whilst in second wind. Find somewhere up high or somewhere near enemy A.I to heal so the Fireteam can’t get to you in time and/or can’t hear you healing over the sounds of soldiers screaming and shooting all over the place.

Easier said than done mate, but more our less I agree.
Only if you have adrenals boost can you get away with consistency but that’s if your playing close combat to often, something I had to learn.
Remember there’s perks. Adrenal boost helps keep your stamina which allows you to leap pretty much the second you land to get away, but you must also learn you can’t engage a fireteam of 4 when it’s just you, you have to think like a predator and try and pick them of one by one or corner them in a mission in the building where you can use detection to track them or at least know how there playing. In the sense you have to act like the predator to be a predator every match they know your out there trying to hunt them, use that to confuse them, watch Bloodthirstylord on YouTube, he is legit the best pred player I have watched( basically playing pred is hard and something you have to learn over time
I find the Predators that like to get in close tend to die more often; such is the high risk, high reward style of gameplay. In my experience, the Predators who employ guerilla tactics, never fully engage unless they have a FT member isolated and have decent aim, experience the most success. Sure, it’s not nearly as fun to play against as FT and it may not be the traditional Predator experience for many players but it has the highest chance of success. There is just far too much opportunity for a FT to flank, ambush or spray down a Predator that attempts to mix it up in close combat.
Not opposed to the idea of smacking boars while in second wind at all. You could make it where wrist blades only hurt pigs during that time.

Medic Perk for predator make you faster restore in Second wind
You can leap in second wind. Even leap into trees. It’s a 10 second heal. Medic perk now grants a 40% reduction. So you can SW heal in 6 seconds as opposed to 10.

Trying to take perks to mod second wind will only make you less effective in the engagement as you’d remove the damage boost or resistance landing you in second wind more often… so no
One ft member can melt you from a distance
I understand the strategy of divided n conquer
I know you can’t just jump in head on
… even the preds long game is weak and takes long to apply … the plasma blaster takes forever to charge n has to be a direct hit for it to be effective the splash damage is weak… even with the pistol jump shoot jump shoot over n over throw a melee … the bow same … while you’re shooting one shot at a time you have 1234 ft members unloading … and they can be reinforced foh there were no reinforcements for Arnie… the last man standing buff is good the reinforcements smh
N sure the predator should take damage from bullets high damage shouldn’t the ft take high melee damage… just trying to be rational… the predator should be able to bully less than pro ft … I mean I’m sure you’ve read the comics n seen the movies … higher damage for both … add the aliens already devs!

Can pick this apart all day won’t… preds attack needs a buff… ft tracking and mobility a nerf… second wind needs an overhaul or to go… a good (not even pro) ft that communicates will always win

Predator glows to aid FT. While you might not have as good luck, good Predators glow to give FT a chance at putting them down. They also don’t attack to prevent Predator from just ending the match either by finishing off FT or FT wrecking Predator. It’s not a state Predator should be in though so it’s best to avoid being in it at all unless you want to self-destruct.
Look before you leap so you don’t stop short.
Plan engagements. Don’t just go for a claim, plan out who gets hit and how. If you told us your build we could probably figure out what’s wrong so you wouldn’t get into second wind.

My build is not the point I have several builds of which I am successful with… and am capable of using different strategies and a variety of weapons… the problem is see is with the second wind mechanic and how it is applied…
