Sometimes i see them like far far in the distance running a muck in the tree tops while cloaked where nobody is assumed to be hanging around. Whether people should be able see Predators cloaked from that distance is all relative. A Sniper would. An Assault with a sniper scope would. Any class holding a pistol or a shotgun wouldnt give a fuck. So you tell me what good is a sniper if you cant see him from that far away running his business like a rockstar like everyone is watching even cloaked?
I say if that sniper sees him, nail him!
A cloak is still a translucent jellybean. Light and colour will refract and make it appear darker. Those physics are real. Now the only way to be unseeable is if there is white light behind him. There are areas in the jungle…but very few.
Seeing the predator while cloaked and standing still.
Yup, Its a little harder with the reduced ammo a few updates back, but still plenty of ammo usually to prefire branches and shit.
Some guys actually did a video about the difference in graphics settings and found out that on lower graphic settings, a cloaked and standing Predator will turn invisible directly, while on max settings, he will be slightly visible for about 3 seconds longer.
So you have an advantage if you turn your settings on max.
But even if I can’t see the Predator, there are many hints that make you find him.
Im sure by now people have said it but theres an option to turn off crossplay. Also, i think the invisibility needs to be improved regardless cus ill stand in a tree branch for a good 20 seconds trying to scan the area and ill shot at by players too
Turning off the cross play will not help you at least. You can recognize where the predator is because of the abnormal sounds he makes. Then you can start shooting to his position randomly and if you hit him you can also mark him. Easy. It’s not about pc or graphic settings, you can easly do it also with a ps4 pad in your hands with all settings at cinematic. Just increase your game volume and you will hear the sound I’m talking about.
Most people arent bats though. Its hard to hear directions with just tv speakers and even if i can get directions it doesnt help with vertical locating
