Self Revive at Exfil

So. I say it should be necessary that the FT is still able to extract if they get downed while at Exfil while having the Self Revive shot. The chopper shouldn’t leave if you have or are using your self Revive and the last guy up goes down.
I just had a game where I went down at Exfil, the chopper arrives and while I’m using my self Revive and literally the second I get up he goes down and the chopper leaves anyway. It ended with me still being alive and the Predator getting a FT eliminated win, it just seems ridiculous

Even if you’re downed you’re not really dead and in the AAR report you should have still been considered alive if the game ended with you still on the ground alive.
If you Self-revived and took the 5 seconds needed to get to the chopper, would you have gotten any bonus XP (assuming you need XP)?

Your scenario though because Pred went down and the chopper left – FT got eliminated . and thats because you got left behind.The story would proceed as FT got eliminated anyway, and not To be Continued as one would assume.

So your dilemma is more so should you get points for being alive than dead?

The chopper leaves even if all 4 are alive but did not get to the ropes in time. The chopper takes fire (lore) and can’t stay any longer there, so they leave.

The chopper will leave if everyone is down. Even if it’s only been there for a second, The AAR only reports you dead if the pred claims you or you bleed out. It’s not at all about points or XP it just seems like it needs to be changed is all.
Let’s say if you are self reviving and your last team mate goes down at exfil, with that gear item technically you have a second chance unless you’ve used it and in turn the game should be able to tell if you will self Revive and continue on like a regular exfil until the real time runs out or if you get up and beam on outta there. Just seems like something that needs changing. The game doesn’t end prematurely when the Predator goes into second wind so why should the match end at exfil if one or more FT members have a usable self revive?

It’s not about how the game is supposed to play or work. This is just something that I think needs to change with the new gear item in game is all

I don’t think the game should end if ft misses the chopper

They should have to run to a marked location at the edge of the jungle or kill the Predator
