As much as I want to give the win to Senator Armstrong, I’m gonna go with me.
Armstrong has literally infused his body with metal and humans are 60% water. My primary method of attack is lightning.
Guess what are two of the best conductors of electricity. He is literally a human lightning rod.
Granted in a pure fistfight Armstrong would fold Sheev like a piece of paper, but all it takes is one zap for Palps to win. Electricity would lock the nanomachines and even if he didn’t have nanomachines, current makes muscles unable to move.
Also a lightsaber cuts through metal like butter, so even at close range I have the edge due to lightsaber+agility+lightning+precognition+force enhanced senses.
That’s a nice argument Senator why don’t you back it up with a source
See above
Yeah but in stories the hero always wins and Senator Armstrong was a hero
In what part of the game was Armstrong a hero
Very good argument opinion respected
And Palpatine wasn’t? He got rid of a child abducting cult that took control of the government, and then ensured it could never happen again. When their omnipotence was threatened by Palpatine, they were revealed for what they truly were; an oppressive cult that didn’t believe in the values of the Republic. Clinging to the edifice of a decadent past, they turned on Palpatine, committed treason against the entire Republic, and he exposed them as they were.
While also removing the stagnant bureaucracy that prevented the republic from functioning on a basic level. When the systems that decided to join The Separatist Movement had collectively concluded that they’d had enough of the Republic and its endless bureaucracy at the hands of self-serving politicians, it was not because Palpatine drove them to such a choice. For hundreds of years before Palps the outer and mid rim planets had suffered because of the Republic’s bureaucratic buffoonery, and the CIS was merely the breaking point.
Palpatine wasn’t wrong when he informed Queen Amidala that the figurehead of the Republic’s bloated arrogance, Chancellor Valorum, had no real power. Separatists would have wanted to secede regardless, only waiting for their numbers to increase.
There were legitimate problems in the Republic that Sheev tried to fix as a Senator.
And as far as Order 66, it didn’t just demand all clone troopers to exterminate their Jedi commanding officers, it also meant they exterminated all Separatist forces. One of the only Jedi to believe in Palpatine’s authority, Anakin Skywalker, was sent to Mustafar, where all the leaders of the Separatist Movement were gathered, to annihilate their threat. In a single day, Palpatine and his forces had won the Clone Wars.
With the creation of the Empire, there were now more ways than ever for galactic citizens to get involved with their government. With the creation of the Imperial Academy, Palpatine gave young people the option of exploring new vocations, even enlisting in the Imperial Military. This gave them a chance to leave their home planets on the Outer Rim and see more of the galaxy than they ever thought possible.
For some (including Biggs Darklighter and Luke Skywalker), a chance to attend the Imperial Academy was the only hope they had of seeing their piloting dreams become a reality, even if they didn’t completely agree with its doctrine.
Very good argument Senator but why don’t you back it up with a sorce
(after objectively observing the Star Wars movies)
I already knew that it was truth I watched all the Star Wars videos when I was younger and I was just gonna kept saying it until someone said the wise Armstrong quote
