Why do my FT allies butter knife cut threw a neo steel net but not a Predator wrist blade, elder sword, club or spear?

It’s like a pred asking why is it that the bullets hurt me but do nothing to the ft member when are next to

but in the lore it doesnt make sense i mean it was the other way around in avp the net cut threw the knife.

Facts, in the movies where they get net gunned, they are absolutely fucked. Not in one instance do they ever get free.
i mean i get it, that would be Over powered as Fuck too have it work that way but i mean, i just rather not have it then have it but it works like a Cardbroad netting
I still remember the Team leader in AvP being netted, someone trying to help him and having their hands torn. It’s just so bizarre that a metal knife can cut it.
PS - might not remember, but I fan boi’d a bit too hard Friday or Saturday after playing a game on the temple map. Props again!

The net gun should deal more damage on impact i like fact in can pin if you get it on the right angle i think ft should have to have help to get out like 2 ppl spam square together if only 1 member does the net it takes the same amount of time not just 1 swipe and out of it.
I can’t believe this is the second time I have had to point this out today but 50% of all net gun victims in the movies got out.
First time you see it used the guy gets shot up by the rest of the Jamaicans no attempt to save him.
Second time LT Harrigan frees himself with a Pred disk.
Third time Celtic finishes him of with a combistick
Forth time xenomorph blood destroys the net
For the life of me I can’t remember it being used in The Predator but I think I have managed to remove that film from my memory
Harrigan used the smart disc, not a knife, and you can’t count the Xenomorph, they are a whole class of their own.
Yes but my point was that you said there was not one instance of someone getting free of the net in the films and I just wanted to show that half the victims did in fact get out
Ok, I omitted Harrigan because he used Pred tech, and the Xenomorph is not a person…I don’t see the issue here.

I’m not sure why the net has all of a sudden become such a hot topic I mean let’s face it if there wasn’t an escape mechanic it would be a one hit weapon. Now if your arguing that it breaks the knife in AVP pretty much everyone you see is now running around with Dutch’s wristblade knife so I’m assuming your all ok with that as it’s Pred tech. Some things I would personally like with the net is more damage not only from initial impact but slightly more damage over time. Also I think if you pin someone to the floor or wall you should be able to claim them as if they were downed
