Why not? You knew it was going to be released to everyone, but you made the choice not to wait and see whether it would be a paid or free DLC, and instead bought a figure that happened to include a code.
I really don’t have any sympathy for anyone who spends that kind of money on a figure just for the code to get early access to a skin. Buy the figure because you want it.

Ok so my point is multifaceted. So yes, let’s assume I’m just mad I paid for something that’s free, ok you can have that one. Are we also ok with these shit updates? Are we also ok with being promised 2 dlc drops a month and the “free” one is always just last months?

The DLC’s state that the class/cosmetics for it stay DLC, and the weapons are early access. This is clearly stated every time. Then during the monthly free content drop they release the things they stated are early access, along with other stuff. Remember when they released the Hammerhead and with it the elder? There is more content than just the early access stuff.
Pisses me off cuz I pre ordered the alpha figure 2 months ago and it hasn’t even shipped yet and then I find out it’s free. Buncha bs

I can just keep repeating myself because it’s that blatant that this is egregious. Our “Free DLC” is old content, and skins they positively had done before even dropping the game and are just trickling out. It’s SO blatant that they laid out this road map to make us go WOAH LOOK HOW MUCH CONTENT WE WILL BE GETTING and then just stacking the content on releases. If that’s not dumb to you, that’s your opinion, that’s fine, I can get behind that. But my opinion is, that’s shady

May be kind of off-topic, but here’s a tip:
If anyone bought the figure just for the skin and now has no point in having the figure, keep it for a while(years is ideal).
If you have a original figure, it will soon be highly valuable(specialy if it’s original) because Alpha is a special Neca figure, with only a few made, so keep it to sell it later.

I have a Spider Man 3 figure, bought it for 1.000 bucks(in my country money), now it’s worth atleast 5x it’s price.
I can see Alpha becoming a extremly expensive figure in the future, hell, my broken ass Predalien is already more expensive then when I gained him.
Trust me I’m not mad I have the figure, it’s pretty dope. I’m more baffled at how our DLC keeps stacking and we keep defending it. Whether you bought it didint buy it however you slice it, alpha is not this months DLC, this is something we already have. As well as a LOT of the “free” dlc we receive in this game
Bro, I bought the Alpha too and it says EXCLUSIVE on the front flap. I understand that LATER ON Illfonic said that the skin would be released later at a cost… this free shit though? I’m burned. If it was released for a price I wouldn’t be as mad but the news today… ugh. It’s awful. City Hunter was supposed to be a celebration and I’m left feeling disappointed.
