Why haven’t you optimized that aspect of the game yet? It severely impacts performance. I can put every other setting on High without any noticeable frame drops yet if i put Shadows even on Medium my frame rate will regularly dip below 60. Setting Shadows on “Low” obviously disables them but i do not wish to play the game like that despite the significantly improved performance with them off. It not only looks atrocious, it kills the game’s intended atmosphere.
Shooting off leaves with the Minigun will tank my performance every time with Shadows on. It’s as if every leaf is casting an individual shadow. Well. Whatever is causing it. It’s reproducible on my end.
