Shield Doesn't Activate

Shield won’t block damage usually when using another source of energy or preforming another action that isn’t melee or range attacks.
It’ll still slow the predator down, resulting in you just flexing on fireteam players while they just melt your HP

So if you are in vision mode or cloaked it wasnt blocking damge? Or was there another item you were using while you had the Shield out?

Please read second reply first my mistake 2 times :(
I’m so sorry, I went back to check my video I had saved to post here and it turns out there was a Dutch just under the branch I was standing at firing bullets into my cheeks while the other guy in front was shooting at me… BUT, what gave me this false report is because if you cloak, use heat vision, then pull the shield out, and then undo cloak and vision at the same time(ish) your shield will remain invisible not showing the red aura but you can still see your energy bar decrease from the shield absorbing damage.

Another side note worth mentioning: the shield isn’t blocking explosives such as grenades, underbarrels or rocket launcher shots. (I’m not sure if that’s intentional, I just assumed so since it says, “or other attacks” in the description)

Wait!!! If u melee with wrist blades and then use shield it won’t block damage in public matches but it works in private matches! Sorry 😓

My platform is PS5 and I’ve only tested it on feral predator
