You guys love to romanticize this whole idea of “honorable” hunting when not in any movies the predators actually do this except against Dutch. Even against Harrigan city hunter did the 1v1 melee because he had no choice (no mask, one hand missing, closed location, etc)

Predators in the movies will attack and kill exactly how people complain people around here play. Remember how JH killed Poncho? Mac?

Billy is ambiguous. We really don’t have any details of what happened there. All we can do is infer that’s what happened but no one will ever know.

Also I don’t find any “honor” in just killing them with melee (like the combistik or wristblades) unless is a duel.

Even Dutch’s fight didn’t feel like a duel, and more like a bully hitting a kid

Agreed. I think Billy fight was a duel cause Billy had no other weapon alternatives except for machete. But that’s just my opinion. All of it stems from Dutch fight but that’s just one occasion.

Dutch was pathetic at hand to hand, but that’s only because of huge weigh difference. Without the trap, there was no way for him to win. Maybe he could have accidentally caused the nuke computer to malfunction and detonate. (Similar to batman vs bane animated )
