SHOCK GAUNTLET SPAMMERS: SOLUTION

I wonder if you can stun into netgun, for the ultimate wristblade troll

stop!! fist is perfect the way it is, don’t encourage illfonic to nerf it

I’ve been experimenting with stunning into the chain whip pull, so I’m sure you could. With fast hands, it’s probably possible to use any combo because they’re stunned for so long. I don’t because I really enjoy running Jotun with impenetrable, large pouch, and medic, as it allows for so much action without constantly micro managing my health and stamina.

Don’t worry. I’ve said my piece. I enjoy using the shock gauntlet too, and I don’t play PHG often enough to be super invested. They likely have their own internal data and reasons for buffing and nerfing stuff, and it likely has little to do with what is said on these forums.

So should I use impen, pouch and medic for jotun?

Personally I use Large Pouch, Medic & Down Range, but Impenetrable isn’t a bad substitute for Down Range on Jotun.

Fair bit of useful information in this video I made if you’re interested.

It comes down to your individual play style. Swapping Medic or Large Pouch for something like downrange can open up more opportunities for one shot knockdowns, especially when paired with Stalker. I like Medic and Large Pouch, because once I start attacking, I like to keep the pressure going, and I don’t want to waste time healing or hunting boars. šŸ—

With fast hands it’s even dumber lol. 1 shock stun is a down if you’re fast enough

If you’re using a class with less perk points then yh LP, Medic & Fast Hands isn’t bad but on Jotun it’s better to have Down Range or Impenetrable.

Does fast hands work with accelerating the keybind switch?

It works with any weapon/gear switch animation.

Pardon me but what exactly is the use of fast hands? I know it makes switching gear faster, but is it THAT important???

Been using it a lot recently, it’s so nice to use because it keeps weapon switching fast and smooth meaning you can to get chain various weapons together as well as use gadgets quicker.

Huh. Did not know that. I don’t feel its worth sacrificing pouch/med/range for me though, but its worth a try and see if there’s a reasonable difference.

Medic is the easiest to drop and play around. I used it back when I was learning the game, now i drop it first when using weird shit

Honestly now that I can wipe premades 6/10 I think imma drop medic but it helps me stay in the scene more

Just try it on Preds with lower perk points than 11 like Scar & Oni. Don’t swap it for Large Pouch or Medic.

Medic is probably the most important one. There’s no point running Large Pouch without Medic because of how long it will take you to heal. You are way easier to chase & the Fireteam can complete more of the mission while you are gone healing. You can try to just heal from pigs but that isn’t reliable at all. Down Range is one of the best perks but you don’t always need it. You can make several classes work without it. Especially if they already have some kind of Specialisation that provides a damage buff.

If you’re playing against potatoes then use whatever you want but against an actual top tier team, it is much more reliable to run both Large Pouch & Medic.
