you are literally just wrong? by making the netgun a gear item it’s a flat buff? cause then while yes we are then choosing between BT’s and Netgun (we are not having to choose on medkits cause everyone takes them) we now have the possibility of bringing two actual weapons and also having a crowd control tool that actually works? as we all know BT’s don’t (especially now that they’ve been fixed to not be frisbees you throw at FT faces) work on any competent fireteams cause they just destroy them cause of how loud they are or the visual que which even some trashcans can figure out while net at the very least makes FT stop moving for 2seconds or worse prevents them from hurting you for up to 8 seconds

right now as a weapon the netgun is just a bad item as it isn’t a damage tool like all other weapons so your choosing this over a damage tool like the bow or a melee weapon like the Eldersword

and it’s a crowd control tool that has niche uses kinda like the bear trap? gee wierd that it takes a weapon slot when it’s function competes with a item in a completely different category

omg… YES!!!
Its not a weapon, its a toll to immobilize ppl for few seconds. Wrist launcher, that is a gear item, is more of a weapon than netgun.
