Should the FT be able to hide under the floorboards on Backwater?

Pretty much as the title suggests. I’ve been having an increasing amount of matches lately where the FT will hide underneath the floor boards of one of the huts on Backwater for the entirety of the match. When this happens they’re constantly throwing out health packs and have several areas to shoot back you if you’re trying to take pot shots with the PC.

I know this sounds a bit nit picky since If the timer runs out I win but how is this remotely fun for anyone? For the predator you’re trying cause as much damage as you can but are limited to unsafe PC shots or roof slams which were nerfed (which is good but not in this case). As the FT you just stand there and take it for 15 minutes and lose how is this fun?

Yeah, people can take the game hostage but in the end, you win so… idk i guess that’s how the game is.

Well now that Illfonic rescued them with the NERF of the slam, FT abuse camping inside building or under structure. Great balancing!

I have noticed an increase in this behavior as well since the slam nerf.

But to answer the OP, yes, because slam still works. The damage is reduced but it still works and is faster than waiting out the match timer.

Exactly why I thought slam nerf was a bad idea. Don’t want to get slammed? Don’t camp. Simple 🤷‍♀️

I think it was nerfed because new/inexperienced FT were being hit with this even when not camping.

I don’t necessarily mind the FT camping in buildings since there’s usually a way of flushing them out however with that one particular spot there’s no real efficient way of doing so other than repeated slams for 10+ minutes. Personally I just find this boring as all hell that even if I win I don’t feel like I’ve earned it. I also don’t see why the FT would do this either since there’s no benefit to this at all. I’ve had 2 teammates try this and as a result my entire team lost. I just hope more people don’t don’t continue this.

I hear this “problem” often but always find it to be an easy win. People who have problems are often rushers and don’t know how to use ranged gear… you can wipe campers with a plasma caster easily.

I just want the plasma caster back so those pc fireteams can stop the sniper spam

Let them hide if they want, hit and run with the plasmacaster they’ll soon come scurrying out like the little roaches they are

Like I said it’s not a matter of camping in a building since there’s usually a way of flushing them out with either the plasma caster or the slam however with that one particular spot the hit boxes of the plasma caster become wonky and unreliable that the only way of getting them is with the slam or glitching through the walls with sword which can get you shredded by the FT since they can shoot through the holes between the wood.

IDK why you would complain about this it is literally such an easy kill.

They never think you know where they are, so just creep up on them, crouch, throw your combi and they are DONE.

It’s hilarious to listen to the ppl get mad who think they can just camp all day.
