I don’t think we’re disagreeing though. As the game is balanced now, the predator is clearly already limiting itself, it should be able to risk experience, to the point of de-leveling itself, to make up for it when the pred faces a challenge.

i’m just pointing out that you’re afraid of engaging fireteams, and you don’t have to. i’m suggesting an idea whereby you could be more powerful so that you could engage without dying every time.

No, anyone who says that it is just either salty from a loss or just sucks or both.

The caster while strong has its weaknesses such as leaving you completely immobile aside from crawling speed, leaving you open to sniper shots, can be completely negated altogether by taking off the mask, you also can’t use it for long with cloak and thermal and unless you’re using hunter, elder, or scout with modified reserves you’ll run out of energy pretty damn quick.

All in all to all those scrubs who rage quit because the pred is using the caster git fookin gud because you won’t see the FT complain with a squad full of field medics or everyone packing snipers and grenades.

Yeah lets design a multiplayer pvp game around not engaging in multiplayer pvp so we don’t need to balance it because you can choose not to play

I’m on your side here! There’s clearly something wrong when Pred mains like you are afraid of ever engaging the FT, despite the game balancing to even odds winning of each side. so i’m proposing that the game include some kind of system where you low-skill Preds can occasionally take a risk in order to get a bonus to try to compete.

It’s not a perfect solution, but given that you say you’re scared to engage with a competent fireteam, something’s gotta give

Then stop ragequitting or don’t complain about leavers? FT queue is 60s. Not like there’s a ranked mode. Simple solution either way, this game did not invent ragequitting.

Melee will eternally be shit sorry. Lmao even if you deleveled the pred to 0 they still have caster and you’re still gonna complain about pred not roleplaying.

No, read again, in the current balance, the pred is obviously limiting itself. it needs something to encourage you weak predators to be less afraid from engaging. I don’t want you to be so afraid of being bopped by a sniper rifle that you never even take a peek and poke. Obviously the trash tier preds like you don’t have the courage to do even that and we need to come up with an idea to make it so that even you can sometimes get the cajones to engage.

Wrong if you go in swinging you’re trash and an absolute bitch. What makes one a great pred is a pred that is dead and ready to captured right by where the FT lands with an apology card and $100 gift card.

They are the best playstyles for a predator that is limiting itself. A predator should be able to, when it knows it is going to lose, go dishonorable and have additional options.
