Show Jungle Hunter some love, please devs

Correct me if i am wrong but last time Jungle hunter was shown love was right at the beginning of the game where he needed to be made equal as hunter class, but that was not a balance it was a BUG as devs said them self lmao.

It came to my attention that i haven’t even been thinking about that lmao… everyone is like too sticked into meta gaming with city hunter due to stats that everyone forgot to write about the one and only jungle hunter

Changes what i want him to have are

  1. Faster predkour (debatable)
  2. Same energy as city hunter (or lasting as city hunter)
  3. Faster blending in with the tree’s when on one.

The last two are are honestly not game breaking or unfair towards fireteam if you ask me cause at the end of game its the fireteam who has to finish the game and exfil and not the predator, he can take as much time as he can lol to hunt and stall.

Faster blending with tree’s would be dope if you ask me cause after all that’s what his name is about lol…

And i think its fair considering how many classes keep getting balance changed but nothing has ever been given to JUNGLE HUNTER?

Buddy, I’m not Satan to summon me to a specific topic) But since you want to hear my opinion, I’m against it.

You see, the Jungle Hunter is an extremely rare class in the community, the balance changes for him make his gameplay different from the rest and as a result, we get a potentially stronger class that is closed to 90% of the community game.

If you change the statistics of the Jungle Hunter, he should become available to everyone. Now let him remain an ordinary hunter.

Give him unique long claim kills

Wrist blade damage buff

Faster movement in trees

No clicking while cloaked

Sidenote City Hunter should turn invisible faster while standing still

Wait what you on about? Not everyone has city hunter either u know… neither the alpha class xD

but they still get balance changes?

Probably like 10% of community has it… or more… i think jungle hunter is owned by more people if u ask me but they dont speak up on the forums or they dont play him as plainly as that.

But if I changed it for myself, I would add to him the ability to carry 3 devices with me in addition to traps and increase his damage in ranged combat, like Alpha just the opposite) If you remember our Hunter did not really fought in close combat, he would rather engaged in methodical shooting.

You can buy a city hunter at any time. Jungle Hunter is closed for purchase. If you go overboard with its buffs, then we get an “elite” caste of players with a broken predator. It is not right.

True but not 100% true… more like 50% true…

A lot of people pre ordered the game… probably more people own the jungle hunter than how many people have alpha and city hunter combined…

like some people got deluxe but i myself got jungle hunter not expecting anything extra out of him… i just love his looks…

But considering how many balance changes everyone else literally got, i think its unfair to say jungle hunter does not deserve any love lmfao…

Unless devs have been secretly buffing him without putting him in patch notes (which is a possibility but i doubt)

Either way i think its unfair xD…

Any changes should be minor to the point where they don’t really affect the game too much or just cosmetic only this way people who never got him don’t screwed twice.

Have you noticed that the hunter as a whole as a class has not received any changes?) Not only the jungle hunter, but in principle. He has no specifics now, although since he is a hunter, I would give him improved tracking capabilities, for example, heat trails from the “mindfulness” Perk, or let’s say a bright highlight of blood stains from wounded FT soldiers.

I agree, i think his healing roar should echo as it did from the movie… and sound more painful, that would be a good start…

Better energy should be also a thing but lets be real here, fireteam does not suffer from predator having extra energy for his cloak or vision…

And for the plasma spam i think we can all agree its players fault if they dont seek shelter xD…

I also think his cloak should work better up in the tree’s

This would go well with the upcoming change for the cloak that will be coming i think soon, and if that gets added then jungle hunter cloak can be more invis or act more cloakable than other preds only at the tree’s tho!

Actually ur not completely right there… hunter before has recieved changes but i cant confirm or i cant really say they applied to the jungle hunter, i have to play hunter class only now instead of JH to see if JH is less powerful than Hunter…

Hunter got what like 3-4 changes? max… maybe less… i think he got 2 max or 3… 4 at max…

Either way the JH change that was to make him as Hunter… or atleast his energy to be like hunters energy was the only change they ever did… and that was cause it was a bug and they forgot to make his energy like hunters.

To be honest, the jungle hunter is the last class that excites me in the game, I’m waiting for my favorite trio, falconers, tracker and berserker. I don’t really like the last one, but the first two are yes, definitely yes. A PC-less class concept, a deadly assassin with enhanced surveillance and elimination capabilities is … interesting. Did you notice that Machete in the 2010 film was killed by the falconer during the attack of the hounds. We see him when the yakuza peers into the trees. This is a scout at maximum settings!

IN GENERAL, I’m not greedy, I’m not against the jungle hunter just made a separate DLC and we, as the heroes of the pre-order, would be given his replicas from the film into the wheel of mimicry, it would be cool.

Yeah honestly im in love with “wolf” pred… now that is a badass pred xD… and again i love predators 2010 … probs my third fav movie maybe second…

Love the effects and scenary… the script was however a bit too fast ngl… could have been stretched a bit and ending too should have been different.

I think the main reason they aren’t editing its stats is because of uproar with people not having already, but idk making have different stats from standard hunter would be nice but the community would start a riot and give more people a reason to complain about not having it.
