I dont think the elder will get Customization, since his armor and skin are set in lore.
I agree, if Samarai Predator arrives with all of the Default Skin Shaders wearable, then we would have a good guide as to how the Movie Predators differ from a more recently introduced character such as Alpha or this Canon Samurai Predator.
