This is just a basic example of how lots of decent Predator players experiences look like. You wait 10-12 minutes in matchmaking only to be dropped in a lobby with 4 randoms who’s skill levels are in no way atleast somewhat equal. And then that match ends in 1-2 minutes after you spot and engage the Fire Team on the map, because they either split up, don’t know how the parry works (just like in the vid) or SHUT THEIR BRAINS OFF and go to revive their downed teammate despite the fact that Predator is just straight up baiting them to do so.
SAME THING with decent Fire Teams that know what they are doing, playing like a team - but gets put in a lobby with a Predator player who doesn’t know what he’s doing / is a newcomer.
IT’S NOT FUN FOR EITHER OF THE SIDES.
- New or sub-par FT players ain’t having fun because Predator player is way above their skill level
- New or sub-par Predator player ain’t having fun because FireTeam players are way above his skill level
Current matchmaking is just horrible - it doesn’t matter that you are lvl100 and getting into match with same or similar level players - that level means jack sh*t. The video is just a direct example of that.
THE ONLY solution right now for players who want challenge/intense games - Discord servers where people search for private games. Games that are just so much different than what you usually see in public servers playing with randoms.
We need a PROPER RANKING systems that puts together similar SKILL players, not similar LEVEL players. That would be a much more enjoyable experience for newcomers and old-timers and imo would make the game’s life-cycle much longer.
Just look how many threads there are that yells how Pred is OP or how FT is OP (P.S. FT is indeed op if you playing against a PC pre-made team with comms)
