So first of all love the game, so needs some work but overall a great game IMO, i watch this youtuber who mains a pred but does fireteam as well… On his stream today he brought up his point saying that running with silencers Decrease the Dmg of the Weapon. Is there any proof of this or just word of mouth? I run silencers and have not noticed if it does or doesn’t, trying to find out.

Yes, our Fireteam tested it in private match, it’s like a 3-5% damage reduction. So what we do, is have an AI weapon, and then run unsilenced UMPs for the Pred.

For AI sure. For Pred meh.

pred will have a hard time finding a fully stealth team
I like running stealth for less opportunities that the Pred hears us, but also like dealing more Dmg unsuppressed.
Some of my load-outs I run an SMG suppressed for Ai, but unsuppressed Primary for Predator.
Why?! The AI in this is absolutely brain dead in this. All you have to do is disrupt their line of fire and knife them.
You’re just gimping yourself with a silencer.
The lack of sound from for the predator vision to see is worth the minor damage decrease.

I dont use silencers waste of time, Ai spawns fuck any teams silence gameplay.
You just have to get better at the game and kill the ai before they fire their weapons.
If you have 4 people in your team that you play with it could be worth it, keep in mind it just takes 1 random spawning AI to get a shot off for it all to be kinda moot though.
If playing with randos don’t even bother someone is gonna have an un-silenced weapon, or not mud up or do something that will draw in the predator at which case the silencer is just a hindrance.
Eh. I’ve had rounds where I keep sniping the predator with a silencer and he can’t find me, so he dies.
