Lots of bunny hopping predators out here. I propose that they make the cloak more effective and have the regular jump but leap has a cooldown of 10 to 15 seconds. Make it feel more like fighting a predator from the movie vs bugs bunny with a bow and caster. Aliens vs Predator 2/AVP2 vanilla had the same mechanic. Then there was AJL mod for avp2 which is still my favorite alien/predator game mod to date. I love PHG and AVP2 vanilla but that ajl mod nails the fun game and movie feel that i prefer.

Yoshimoro got wrecked for bunny hopping so gg buddy but try something else that just aint it!

BUFF FT to the same amount of health as the Predator’s own Healthbar, then just make it one person

I dont think cool down would be an issue if pred would stay silent when cloaked and harder to spot when cloaked. At least harder to spot at a distance when cloaked.

Not everyone wants to play like that that tho.
But cloak just needs to be more efficient anyways.

If they were to make the cloak more effective you’d just get FT players then whining about how they can never see the Predator.

If they want to make the cloak actually effective, and the weapons a bit closer to the firepower of the FT weapons then great, but until then I’ll be leaping around and staying hyper-mobile as it’s the most effective way to stay alive and beat the FT.

The OP is complaining about ‘jumping around’ Pred players. I have suggested to him that were the cloak to be made effective (as he suggests as an alternative) then you’d likely get FT complaining about that, on top of those that complain about Preds using Bow, using Traps, Plasma ‘spamming’ or any other number of complaints I’ve seen mentioned around here.

Sure, when they stop bunny hopping FTs👍🏼 I’ve watched alot of real war footage, never once seen soldiers hopping around during a firefight.

Predator leaping cooldown?🤣 we already have that, it’s called STAMINA…or lack thereof.

I’m beginning to like Turtles.

Not complaining. Its fun even if predator hops all over the place like a lil kid. BUT it feels more movie accurate and immersive if the PREDATOR behaves how we are used to seeing them behave. Like avp2 again for example it was fun even tho the pred bunny hops but AJL mod for AVP2 made it more like the movies. Pred can not hop so much or not as giddy like. If thats the right word for it.

@VENN7eance I think stamina should only apply to regular small jumps but the LEAP ability is in need of a serious cool down…at least 5 seconds
