I love the idea but thas not gonna happen mainly because when the game was announced it was advertised as such: a multiplayer only game which yea a single player mode is what was wanted and needed but Thier not gonna do that.
Were only gonna get at least 1 more mode and some skins. I know its inevitable, but once ppl stop playing completely to us literally not be able to ever play it unless you got a group who plays often or is willing to.
I’ve been saying since before the game was even released that this game needs single player options, like regardless of this game being advertised as multiplayer only it can easily have single player options just like aliens fireteam, the trailers make it look like that its an online only game which it isn’t. People need to stop thinking their online only game will never die like this games playerbase has diminished since launch and atleast with offline content the game will never die, you dont have to base your playtime on others playing the game you wanna play

They thinking this game wont die and when no one is playing the devs wont shut down the servers, like I know for a fact Illfonic cant make a good campaign, but they can easily make like 20 missions or something cause ounce this game is dead no ones playing it atleast offline lets you play it without requiring other people
Yea… private matches still require you to have an online subscription if you are playing PS4. Like its incredibly ridiculous that we can play with only A.I no other players but still need online to access it.

Single player modes don’t keep multiplayer games alive. It is exactly the opposite. Multi-player modes keep single player games alive.
Look at Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V, Battlefront II, any Battlefield, Call of Duty, etc. game
Look how Cyberpunk died within a few months…

Realistically this game seems to be in maintenance mode, I speculate there aren’t enough resources/devs on this project for something like a campaign, it would be great to get a campaign, mostly for the predator since despite how much ppl crap on this game there are some salvageable good things that were done (mainly regarding predator gameplay), but it just doesn’t seem possible.
However, what they should add at the very least that seems more realistically achievable, is a Predator vs Ai mode, cause let’s face it predator queues are unbearable, completely unacceptable. The mode could be quite fun, actually demanding some stealth to accomplish things and make the player actually feel like a predator, which doesn’t occur on normal MP matches.
Honestly best we can hope for is that the license goes to a bigger better team to develope a fully realised game as either Predator or Human, Illfonic did an okay job at a mildly successful asymmetrical romp

The reason I bought Friday the 13th: The Game on Steam was because they added an offline single-player mode. PHG needs one as well. It can be super basic, I don’t care but there has to be a single-player mode.
Sadly I would be happy with this. Just fucking release this mode already
