I barely use slam as it is, but if were just going to change it to be a pure blind ability wouldnt it make more sense to just give the pred a blinding blast or his own flash bang?

This is why I say we need more abilities. I wouldnt mind a pure utility ability that didnt leave us completely useless.
But I’ve always hated attacks that leave you wide open.

Ppl think asians are the best cause asians typically spend the most time playing. So the amount of training they do has a lot of them playing really well. Ppl think asians are just magically good at shit, but they just practice a lot.
But honestly I don’t see how, unless its a roof slam, slam is good for good ft’s.

Its too easy to punish.

Oh for sure I don’t doubt for a second that there will be some just as good as the teams I mentioned. Slam is now a death wish for the predator unless they find a rare moment where it looks like the FT won’t be able to punish them.

I meant just in general. I havent really seen too many asians play this tho. I’ve heard of the Russian group, but they use potatoe mode so, not too impressed.

I’m playing from australia, so my time zone is the same as Korea and Japan.
I see plenty.

Also the match making due to ping etc probably makes it more likely I’ll encounter them.

Probably off ping tbh. If it doesn’t, it should. High ping matches suck in any game.

Oh it’s 100% needed. Even with slam that doesn’t root you, you’re still the weaker side. With root you start the game knowing 100% you have lost which sucks. I know it’s the minority of the player base and you can purely balance for that but that’s where making changes that mainly only affect the stronger players comes in. It’s not easy to make changes like this alas

Removing the root would make it broken for randoms. I say keep it as it is and remove its ability to go trough walls.

I mean if were talking balance I think, the damage 1 ft does now, is ridiculous with some guns.

I think it should have to be 2 ppl do that kind of damage to pred. But that’s a whole different topic.

Just wanna point out, every time I play with a full party I find ft to be op xD.

I don’t find them OP.
PUGs are so piss easy it’s not funny.
I get lazy playing against PUGs.
I good well organised FT team forces you to lift your game. And in all honesty they’re the most fun to play against.
If you want to win every match with out challenge, what’s the point in playing?

I dont mean for non party teams, I mean full party teams.

I feel like we might get to a good spot with balancing.
But I dont think we’re there yet. Just have to wait and see what illfonic does.

Oh we’re on the same page. A 4 man FT squad, who are strong in their own right, have a noticeable advantage over the predator.

Yeah the damage a single FT can put out is just crazy
