Slam damage through roofs

anyway the predator should not be able to slam damage through the roof because the roof is blocking it , even if it is an area effect ,isnt that simple logic duh

FT can shoot through the roof can easily keep predator off them at high level. Predator can jump around and redirect fire and make them use ammo up and Health packs. Super High paly you can exhaust the timer and win the match if you kill a few of them

i dont care what you post its way to ez for FT

Four of you shouldn’t even be in the building. It takes one to do the objective, you have four people total. Common sense says be outside shooting the roof for free damage when pred slams it.
Yet I see people just staying in buildings after it gets slammed over and over despite having to ability to sprint outside and syringe. FT has to have SOME kind of learning curve. Stop pretending the pred isn’t there while you clear objectives and gather veratanium like bots.

It’s not a bug, so there’s no reason to patch it. Think of it like an EMP blast — it’s energy based, not physical therefore physical barriers don’t stop the force it yields.

And Aim Assist IMO is terrible, I avoid games that use it and deactivate it if possible on games that do have it if I enjoy the game enough.

Do not want Aim Assist in this game at all. Learn to aim at a 🎯 and pull the trigger or adjust aim settings to fit player’s needs.

If u fire team cunts camp inside a building waiting for the predator to come inside then slamming is the only option to deal damage without getting shot a million times
If they remove this then all the fire team will do is stay inside and camp to kill predator

Lol thats a bug right there how the fuck can bullets pierce through roof but plasma caster shot cant do so

I would suggest go outside when the Predator appears and deal with that threat before continuing to collect Veritanium.

You have 6 seconds to comply.

Thank you for your cooperation.

(That was my hest RoboCop impression, sorry if I disappoint)

Cannot stand how people are using this as a game ending mechanic.

Just because the devs put it in the game for you to use and win with, doesnt mean that it isnt a terrible / unbalanced game mechanic.

Literally 75% of the missions require you to be inside of a building/under a hut. How can a fireteam that is in need of completing these missions able to do so if the monster playing the game can attack you from outside of the building to the point of endgame?

I literally am going round and round in circles here wondering why an honourable alien killing machine would want to finish a team off by slamming ontop of the building…

Needs to go. Pred mains and FT members have gone through enough changes to allow everyone to be adaptable at this point.

Please reduce the damage through the roofs or at least severly impare the FT to the point pred can go in and finish them off or to force them to be flushed out.

Please …

Any level headed person would know this sucks weather its winning with it or losing by it. I cannot come to terms that the roof was smashed on and the game is over…

stfu

Cannot stand how people use this as an example of why space jam should not exist.

Just because the devs put the objectives inside the building does not mean you can’t stop or do them staggered.

Literally 75% of the FT can stay outside and cover the FT doing the objective.

I am literally running around wondering why big tough solders want to huddle together holding F and die inside a building.

Now if three of these guys had done what the last one did, I’d have been in trouble. Instead the inverse happened.

I would rather you come out and play, but if they do not:
Then I’ll huff,
and I’ll puff,
and I’ll slam your team down.

they have 125 on heal 2 times and medic-kits throughout the map. I mean this is an efective way to exhaust resources

The base through roof slam gives people zero incentive to think they will survive. Not saying to stay in the building or anything like that! Would prefer to come out and fight the predator… honestly.

I had a mission my teammate was arrowed inside of a building and downed. 2 of us.

Went inside to revive him due to reinforcements being used already, slam. We both got downed.

Should I just assume if my teammates inside of buildings are goners and never attempt to revive them?

Maybe I’m the 2% population of people that believes this game ending mechanic shouldnt exist.

Just never seen people defend and fight for such a long time about feeling like you can win by knocking on the roof…

it only does 95 dmg on a slam. Rarely ever against a good fire-team will you even use it.

Yep same applies to downed teammates that are beartrapped or used as slam bait, or caster/bow bait for repeated downs. If you can’t cover the revive don’t go for it.

It’s like playing DBD and thinking you’re supposed to get to unhook everyone.

Alrighty then!

No longer will I revive downed teammates inside of buildings!

Praying people dont report me for dumbass reasons or are presuming I’m being a toxic player

Be better and stop hiding inside.

If you read through the other comments you’d see I’m not a camper, I’m the one usually doing the objectives when my support class, otherwise I’m my recon class posted up just outside camps to spot the predator.

Easiest way to kill slam spammers is to be outside in a spacious area where you can shoot him as soon as the slam lands or you can see him leap and try to shoot him, eithet way you punish him for the slam. PS never carry those shitty medbags always bring stim ahot. You will survive 4+ slams if you heal in between them. Slam only works when you’re inside a small building and becomes less effective when you all coordinate and punish it.

For my support I carry both, but I always chose stims over med packs outside of that. My assault class I also bring them, but lately I wanna being ammo over the med packs
