Just as the title says, are the devs gonna fix this soon? Just fought a mediocre predator that only slammed the roofs for damage and hopefully they’ll patch it soon.

Then you were being a mediocre fireteam and didn’t shoot him every single time he was either soaring through the air or rooted in place unable to move.
Seems to be working as intended.
Hot tip: Open areas are safer than buildings.

It isnt exactly easy to shoot something moving through mid air that quickly, these predators are very mediocre. Doesnt help a whole lot when our objectives were all inside btw. Also they weren’t rooted in place, this beserker was definitely moving right after slamming.
The cancel/slide was supposed to be fixed, so I think it is safe to say that is not intended.
But space jam is.

Don’t bother trying to debate him on this. His response to being anything short of being able to shoot the nut sac off a fly at high speed is that you are trash.
No one told you to play with a controller and not be able to hit anything.

I’ve read on the facebook page for this game that ots mainly pc players that are still doing it, but time will tell as more patches come out. It’s more annoying to me, I’m a camper by no means, just trying to do the objective and the pred would slam, run, come back a couple seconds later and re slam.
I’ve only got a ps4, cant afford a pc currently especially with current medical bills that ivr got to pay. So co trollers for me it is.
I know I have only seen PC players do it, albeit still a bit rare for me, and when they do it once they basically just spam it anytime you go into a building for a fraction of a second. Doing it with hardcore campers or guys under buildings you can’t get to is one thing but the way people that use it use it is just being pussies.

Demand better aim assist. As it stands right now just the predator repeatedly leaping around is OP for ps4 players.

I’m learning right now, I dont like relying on aim assist even though it pretty much is required for console, I’ll try adapting my strategies in case constant slam becomes the norm for now, only way to beat the curve is to stay ahead of it
I hate aim assist. It only ever throws me off. Yeah idk what ft can really do vs slam spam.
You always wanna have 2 ppl watching for pred.
The only thing you can really do is hope to get him before he moves from slam. Light that pred up.
As for in buildings, only have 1 person in the building.

The damage could stand to be nerfed through walls/roofs a tad. It still needs to be a reliable counter to building camping.

If your in there long enough to get downed by getting smashed through walls and roofs, thats you’re fault as a FT for hiding.
As it stands now its rough because that cover is the only breathing room to heal up in moderate safety.
If that damage was fully removed then it has to destroy dropped meds and ammo indoors through walls then at least. Some buildings are the worst chokepoint in 1v4 with a team purposely hiding for the clock.
I agree, building camping is annoying, I’m not a camper myself, just trying to so the objectives. I normally play recon with my .50 cal and am posted up a small ways away keeping point for the predator, today though I was my support class with the lmg.
dude,when your in a building doing an objective ( in the middle of doing one) or hiding and a predator slams onto the roof and damages you , how in the hell are you suppose to shoot the predator? shoot through the roof
