Smart Disc Guide

I’ve finally figured out the Smart Disc. And it works like a military robot to clear out small rooms.

Strategic Purpose:

  1. A very specialized weapon. It’s main purpose is to safely clear out small rooms and buildings. Helping break up stalemates when the Fire Team holds up inside them.

Tactical Use:

  1. It’s never to be used out in the open. It’s strength is the fact it’s remotely controlled. And doesn’t need line of site to attack. This is it’s main strength.
  2. The more team members inside the better. Why? Because it’s harder for all of them to dodge out of the way.
  3. Never expose yourself directly to Fire Team members when using the disc. Always use it in a stealthy manner hiding in cover, using it’s remote control capabilities.

There. That’s my guide. I hope this helps. Does the Disk need a buff? 100% Yes. But 99% of people are using it the wrong way. Which makes the community think it’s even weaker than it actually is. Is it very situational? Yes. But when a Fire Team turtles up inside a small building. Refusing to come out. Your gonna really, really wish you had it. Without it. Your forced to go in yourself. And we know how that ends. Feel free to add any additional strategies you know of! And happy hunting!

You may also add:

  1. Once you hit the enemy, call the disc back. Chances are it will deal damage again on its way back ;)

Thanks for the tip gonna have to give it a good try. It would be great if it they could make it easier to control maybe i havent used it enough

i have been using this lately just so far finding it really fun. surprised how useful its been getting an angle on the warehouses in derailed for example. could use a buff but even if they upped the control sensitivity and made it follow the same path back that would be awesome.

If you throw it in most buildings then be prepared to lose it as FT can damage and destroy it.

I cant agree more with OP.

@JessyVentura1 this is basically exactly what you said.

I would also add that you can use it when downing someone and baiting the downed guy’s FireTeam members to help him out. Then use the smart disk while being out of line of sight.
