Smart Disk PC

Anybody have a solution for the disk sensitivity on PC? I feel like it’s so hard to move even with the game sensitivity maxed out. I’m sure using the disk on a controller is better but I’m using mouse and keyboard.

Do you have a dpi switch on your mouse?

Actually I do I’ll give that a shot. Thanks

What’s a dpi switch?

i have a dpi switch on my mouse, coupled with software for the mouse which allows me to change mouse sensitivity presets at a click. so if i launch the disc i can press it (it is where my thumb rests) and it will boost the sensitivity and when i get the disc back i can click it again and it will go back to normal sensitivity.

its this mouse.

with razer synapse you can configure the mouse dpi switch to have how ever many different dpi stages you want. i just use 2, one for disc appropriate dpi and normal.

they really do need a seperate slider for disc sensitivity though. still a major oversight on their part.

its lagg mate not your mouse

no the mouse sensitivity for disc is whack.

it works really well, my dpi is 1800 normal and 5000-6000 for disc. you can make it do 180s easily with that. my game sensitivity is at default i think.

Are you referring to the turn radius of the disc? I use a controller and it seems there’s a maximum turn radius that isn’t great. But if you’re talking about going back and forth then that’s a different issue.

the turn radius is pretty bad. it requires at least 3 - 4 times what is currently in the game to be serviceable. but it becomes super nimble when properly adjusted.

I do increase the sensativity

Having a dpi switch on the mouse is a game changer. Never used the disk until I tried that. World of difference.

Too bad its nearly unusable if you have above 50ping.
Lags and warps around hits corners when its not even close due to lag.
