Out of context much, I asked if that was a fair question, I didn’t actually ask it.

Them being neat is one of the main reasons I want them, it isn’t the only reason. Neat implies all kinds of fun to me. There’s at least half a dozen off the top of my head, ideas that are made simpler by peoples familiarity with them. They give multiple types of challenge, come in different types, add the possible for movie inspired maps.

There’s also the fact that I’d love to fight them as FT, no Alien game has ever given me the opportunity to have that experience. I can’t think of anything more fun and chaotic as trying to hold off Xeno’s and fight a a Predator. There’s the modern aspect too, there’s something about fighting Aliens as my Scout, what weapons would I swap to, are my perks still good, and how can I improve my gear load out.

I think they should just merge the universes tbh. There wouldn’t be any arguments over which universe is better and each one needing not to include the other. Now obviously there’d still be just predator and just alien comics/movies/most likely more games, but it would just make sense to merge yk?

Well debates really. Not so much as arguments. And it’s not that people hate preds or aliens, but the “no they have their universe, give these their own” kinda deals. If everything was merged to all be canon rather than their own things, there wouldn’t be these debates. And like I said earlier, they wouldn’t need to involve both predators and xenomorphs in everything they make, there will still be stories on their own.

Plus if they were merged to be canon, I watched a video by Kroll? Krole? Don’t exactly remember his name, but his theory of David recreating a xeno from stored dna in the black goo sounds better to me than him just straight up making them

Predator is an 80s style action thriller. Alien is horror, and body horror. They really don’t belong together

Because that’s correct. They aren’t even set in the same time period. Predator shouldn’t have to parasite off of alien.

Think of avp as a thing limited to a few clans if you have to otherwise both series break eachother’s lore regardless. If xenos are so valued to hunt then why do preds bother with other sentient species seeing as preds have a code of conduct? No xeno is unarmed and its not like xenos are going to steal their technology either.

Time periods r a very fixable things. Use new characters or, as much as I hate to say this, introduce time travel. And I don’t see how predator parasites off aliens just by including them every once in a while.

But predators don’t hunt just one thing, they hunt wut they deem as worthy. Hunting xenomorphs would certainly be much better than hunting bobcats and wolfs, but all predators hunt those, y not xenos too?

It makes hunting aliens mandatory for a predator to be a predator. AvP’s ongoing narrative is that xeno’s > everything and humans/other species are cattle for breeding bigger badder aliens, why would you bother with anything lesser than the ultimate biological survivor unless you’re a coward?

Well like I said, even in the predator universe where humans r ultimate prey, they still hunt animals, so they can still hunt humans with aliens in the universe

Preds in their own lore are on a spree to kill as many aggressive exotic things as possible for funsies. The prime target is still the apex species of that planet, whereas aliens are the apex of every planet so theres no point in showing up on earth or anywhere else unless there are aliens there.

AvP had a clear intent behind it and they didn’t care about the humans or killing for sport at all. If avp preds acted like either of the previous they would’ve killed all the humans first for shits and giggles just because they were there and had a gun.

And they did kill almost every human for shits and giggles. The ones they didn’t kill were killed by xenomorphs. And idt it would be very smart to hunt all the humans then the xenomorphs, especially if they’re in the same area, considering xenomorphs r deadlier

So you put aliens on that planet in a little pyramid and bam infinite ultimate hunting. Kind of the point. Throw a facehugger on a cat and now you have instant ramen supreme prey.
Too bad a predalien farm is pushing pred hunting ethics a bit.

How about they add everything the predator hunts from xenomorphs to the giant dinosaur looking thing xenomorphs can’t take the spotlight if there’s tons of prey to hunt and besides I think adding things like the dinosaur has never been done before therefore that would draw in more players probably more than just xenomorphs would

I would like to see Xeno’s as prey. Also Face-Huggers, maybe work our way up to fighting a Queen.

Also giant mutant T-Rex’s, those would be awesome to hunt.
