When is the FT going to get new stuff? The predators are up for the 3rd new class in a row! Boy its a good thing the predator que is really short and FT really long so we need to provide incentive for more predators to que!

I think it comes down to âwhat sellsâ vs âwhat retainsâ.
Predator content sells. Itâs called Predator Hunting Grounds, not Fire Team Hunting Grounds.
Itâs a Predator IP. The Predator is the selling point.
Not many people would have purchased this game going âOohhh⌠I can play as a Human Marine, and shoot Guerillas while doing objectives.â
People bought this game so they could play as the Predator. Many pivoted to Fire Team due to social interaction and queue times, but very few bought this game with no intent to play as the Predator.
However then we get to the second aspect. What retains, and thatâs where your absolutely right, we need FT content.
It needs to be fun to play as FT. Not only for those players who want to play FT, but even more so for those players that want to play as the Predator. People arenât going to stick around and play a game that sucks up their time waiting in queues.
You have more people playing this game that play only Predator than those that play only FT. If they canât play as a Predator, they simply wonât play at all.
On the other hand you have a very large portion of players that would likely prefer Predator but play Fire Team due to wait times and the social aspect of it. (Iâm one of them).
Right now the most crucial thing is not to lose focus on retaining players, over selling to new players. Especially if every new player just thinks they can jump on in and start playing as a Predator, and then shelves the game, when it doesnât really work out like that.

Predator queue is really short? Come on stop lying for defending these devs what the hell⌠Itâs 10 minutes for every one and it is too much, that s why many people have already dropped the game. Put content for fireteam but also rework the queue system to get rid of one trick retards.

Yes, I was sarcastic. Trying to point out how long pred ques are and yet they give more content (and so, incentive) to predators. On the other hand (just found out) FT getâs even more nerfs (reinforcements).

If FT wasnât a boring as hell interaction wheel fetch quest rush bland fps with crap AI during downtime we could actually have fun gameplay on both sides. FT shouldnât be a mindnumbingly boring wait for the pred to show up and objectives, optional or not, should affect the pred in some way or another so you actually care about getting big dumb water samples out of the big dumb river. Pred gets weapons but dlc canât actually vary fireteam gameplay, point shoot. Objectives need to be better they donât even have fail conditions. They currently just exist in a vaccum to push the game forward and its wasted potential when FT gameplay could actually be engaging.

FT needs a whole patch of love, perks (and/or changes), new toys ie. gear and guns⌠maybe ammo types.
New classes, while Iâm sure theyâre on there way it canât be said enough that we need them. I have more Iâm going to suggest but until I see what illfonic is doing with FT, making those suggestions is difficult.
Customization is also something I hope is coming, whether itâs a trophy slot on FT, new head models/hair types or even scars/tattoos done the same way as camo paint.
Itâs a lot easier to make Predators though as well and cheaper to boot. FT needs voice lines actors/actresses royalty payments and more work on physical design I would think as well.
The only thing you see as FT is your weapon, could not care less about customization. If FT had 3ârd person view⌠SureâŚ
Obviously so they make cash cow predators and leave the game in the sorry state it is promising an upcoming map/game mode⌠The day before I got stuck 2 times in/between tress on my FT and had to kill myself⌠But hey, they need to make that reskinned predator!
Before it continues though iâd like to make a point about constant use of the word reskin. We donât actually need new pred models. Sounds, vision modes maybe but new animations for the whole pred rig and such for each release should not be the expectation that crap is expensive akin to expecting a monthly character release in a moba, not realistic.
Scout, Hunter, Zerk is completely fine as a base and thereâs nothing wrong with armor swapping the base models unless they start making classes extremely different from eachother (ideally yes but not the case). The only thing that would demand a whole new model from what we have is if they implemented Assassin.
No need to make it sound like youâre paying for Smite pallette swaps.

And please remove defuse bombs from daily challenges like whoâs playing 12 rounds so everyone on the 4 man fireteam can disarm 3 bombs. But yes something better to entice players to select fireteam from time to time so that an equal drop in predator queues might be seen, I was sad that they didnt raise the level cap even 3 dupes per field locker can be an incentive towards my mythic skin battle, 11 pred armors down however many to go and of course a couple of the knife mythics not one predator trophy ever from field lockers
