game is good in its base and mechanics.
Just needs some TLC.
Predator needs to be more sneaky i agree, i think not only the visuals but the sounds are way too localised. making the predator clickin n hootin n shit reverberate around a general 10m wide area instead of from him would be good.
Making the crouched footsteps almost silent untill like 5m away and general running slightly quieter or fall off faster, so atleast pred can get into the area without being heard 5miles away over gunfire. also maybe making him totally invisible even when moving quickly at a long distance if that already isnt a thing…
The cloaking if it works and makes u invisible works well with the timing of it etc, i think thats ok as long as its working.
But the positive is the game is super fun as you say when it all works out well. I keep coming back, cyberpunk couldnt do that and a lot of games cant keep me, so it certainly has something. I think the fireteam need to be more scared though, most of the games are a bit like FT dont even care predator is around, and that doesnt fit the first movie…
Should be scared of the demon who makes trpophies of men.
I think some changes to lighting and particles could work well, maybe you see some fog/smoke “waft” as predator moves through it but you dont actually see the predator, just the result.
Lighting / darkness could be used to good effect i think. not neccesarily night maps with nightvision being needed, but some lower light situations where maybe hiding in a dark corner even uncloaked could work.
Jumpscares should be there, if predator lands an attack from a totally cloaked unseen (not been shot at) position then there should be some loud scare or supprise to make fireteams heart race…

But the game is good! just needs refining and perfecting.
