So Cooling Syncs?

Is it worth it? Does it have a Variable effect based on class? Perhaps a waste of a perk slot unless coupled with something else? If so what?
Anyone who’s got any data on this I would love to see it, based on my own experiments it seems to shave off a second and a half on scouts 3 seconds on hunter and about the same on zerks. Now my data may be off as I am using the stopwatch on my phone as best as I can while using my controller, but Im interested what everyone’s thoughts are on the perk.
😁

It shaves off 2.5 seconds for scout.

If your running a slam based build or a ranged shoulder canon build sure its viable I’ve made a couple videos with it. I typically go with the berserker for the health pool just in case im getting lit up by them. For berserker if im not mistaken it is 3 seconds.

It’s worth it. Esp on hunter and city hunter. Takes it from 14 seconds to 10. Makes plasma caster far more usable

Is it a similar effect for elder as well? Haven’t tested it on him yet but I would assume its more less the same amount of time as H/CH @Constricting-net thanks for that I knew it felt like the scout got a smaller reduction 😒

Yeah but scout already has a 9 second overload duration. Which is the shortest in the game. With CS you go to 6.5 seconds overload duration. That’s pretty fast. Modified reserves for whatever only seem to shave off .5 seconds. But it greatly reduces energy drain. It’s inconsistent.

There’s a reason scout is the best class in the game.Highest stamina, highest perk choice, fastest energy regen and overload cooldown. Also gets a built in predkour, AND get stamina regen while melee attacking.

Drawbacks are smallest health pool, smallest energy reserves, weakest melee attacks and lowest gear usage.

Yeah I run one of my scout with downrange, dithered, and mod reserve for a pc main build but i was just wondering about how cooling syncs would help or hurt that build

Cooling sync on Scout makes the recharge time 6 seconds. Pair that with down range and you’ve got some serious hurting power

So then would you say dithered would be the perk to drop in that scenario?

I find it doesn’t make much difference for me personally. Would rather have long jump

I would ditch down range. The 10% extra pales in comparison to harder to see lasers. You could swap Modified reserves for mask protection. In the even t your mask gets shot off, which in that case will be quite crippled.

Scout with long jump adrenal and cooling sync with bow and combistick is one tough build to deal with. Such massive offensive power with unrivaled mobility.

its not great… you should never have to use it… energy cell is better

its 5

It’s only 5%? Wow what a joke…

sorry its 10

a 35 dmg shot… lol 45

What’s a 45 damage shot? An uncharged PC?

I’ll give it a shot tonight and post a vid with my findings 😁
