No that was actually scrapped once they didnt go for jean claud van damm…
They went for a total different way of looks and culture, originally yes the alpha pred was the og design but scrapped and amengi was also scrapped fully…

And then engineers and current yatuja design exist, or did… or does… whatever i just remember it as engineers and current yatuja and the culture.

My childhood will still be based on engineers and yatuja and not old design and amengi

They were actually forced to evolve due to their planet being like a hot magma lol, and their vision is also not so great on their planet but is good af on other planets if they use like their bio mask which they were forced to craft to use in other planets when hunting which is not actually connected to their evolution rather they evolve by hunting but they use the hunt to be worthy of their existance, their lore is based on real life lore and by the mayans

So whats funny is in avp 1 u see the lore explaining they came to earth way back then when mayan civilizations of humans were alive and they gave mayans knowledge as long as they were sacrificed to their hunt as being impregnated by facehuggers and so on…

So its funny cause mayans were actually highly developed and all the current gen medicine and data comes from mayan civ, they developed all sorts of medical practices…
