Hi illfonic,

Need some help please, new to the game. PC Win10 platform.

Been waiting serious loading times for matches. I logged a ticket with Epic who have referred me here. Only four matches since purchase 5 days ago.

I am not receiving any feedback from Epic that the latest updated and patched version is installed as I am still seeing a panel on the main menu screen that reads: “Version 1.10 is now available”.

Please assist?

It’s ok now. The money’s been paid. 'nuff said. “Enjoy” the game.
No wonder they launched the game on Epic. The 2 companies complete eachother.

I would help you if I’d know how :) Have you tried reinstalling?

Not yet but that’s the next logical step… will give that a go and see…

P.S. Long waiting times for predator are “normal”.

over 30-40 minutes ending in cancellation waiting times for a predator match. Only managed to get into four matches with 1 as Predator. The matches i did get into I was matching only when using a VPN…

Hmmm maybe your region have low or no players
Game is searching in your local region players but if there isnt enough players game is searching in other regions
When i want play pred for just fun i wait 4-8 min (i live in EU)
epic launcher is dowloading automatically patches (dont know if you can disable that option) i know game is showing “patch 1.10 is live!” But you already have that but if games is showing “there is patch 1.xx please turn off game and download it” then you know you dont have latest patch

The Panel in my game states: “Patch Version 1.10 is available” which made me wonder… You are spot on about the local factor as I tried locally at three different times yesterday with the same results.

I’ll do the reinstall and get back to you, maybe i missed the patch.

Yeah. It automatically installs patches.

Don’t bother reinstalling it. Their backend has been unstable since launch. It’s only gotten worse in the past few weeks.

I also suggest restarting the queue every time it hits 10 minutes. Somrtimes a queue will break and hence the 40 min waits. Better to just restart it and hope that helps.

Agreed. I restart after about 8 or 9 minutes but you’re right; it is better to cancel and just restart the quickplay as Pred.

As stated above, this is normal to see the ‘Patch 1.10 available’ even when it is actually installed on your machine. Cancel the Pred queue after no more than 10 minutes and retry - that seems to be effective for myself and other players.

I’ve extensively matched with Crossplay off (PS4 Pro here) and I always reset the Queue once the Matchmaking Ticker goes 90 Seconds above the Estimated Time @AwolEwok

I also gave Crossplay a shot earlier this Morning and there really wasn’t a difference.

Sadly, this is something that we just have to deal with. When Hunting Grounds works, it works very well. But what feels like broken Matchmaking (that Timer really needs to be updated/patched) brings the experience down a bit.

Here’s hoping to Server Patches down the road. I have a suspicion that Hunting Grounds piggybacks off of Friday the 13th: The Game’s Servers…

All patches install automatically. It’s got nothing to do with your system. It’s their shit servers. They can’t even maintain that let alone fix game breaking isues. You can it reinstall as much as you want. It won’t do shit.

The game is currently unplayable on PC. If you still meet Epic’s refund policy then i suggest you request a refund. I certainly would if i could.

Suggest epic let client with best connection speed be the host

This shit happens while queuing for matches. It’s a server side, not a client a side issue.

Every PC player i know is running into this shit every few matches. You mean to tell me that every one of them is on a shit connection?!
