Yes I’ve won every FT match I’ve played which I’ve played quite a few, everytime I killed the predator

Ok ok, I mostly main zerk… (not because its OP but because I was always a heavy-pred in AVP2 and I just like the chunky style and symmetrical body armour).
The main weakness of the Zerk, is its poop energy drain and its speed.
Now, the energy drain you can play around, hiding out of sight and letting it charge up, but the main thing that has made the Zerk alot stronger… is actually the 2nd wind leap. Before you could run it down easily since it was slow as fk. But now with 2nd wind leap… it can get away pretty easy.
Main fix, id actually suggest swapping its Plasma caster for disc. and removing or nerfing its 2nd wind leap.
I win almost every game even when their is a berserk predator. Everything in the game changed once I unlocked the minigun for my support main. Just tank up, take heal packs, ammo packs, and personal heals. Usually if I am playing my sniper, I let my team do their thing while I play overwatch for the predator. Always have someone on predator watch, and remember you CAN parry a predator.

There’s an on-screen prompt? How rookie. I am trying to dodge n parry to much I didnt even notice.
yeah i think its not always working so i mean if u can time it without that its probably better.
I think the parry promt should be bigger to be fair and make sure it works, im not sure it always shows

That being said, ive not been on many wins…mainly due to no one talking, communicating or enjoying the game. WHY oh WHY do you people get into matches with NO mic?
Many of us have mics, we just don’t use them because the preds can hear you talking too. I prefer using discord or teamspeak with my squad.
They really need to remove pred from the FT chat lol
Yes, quite a few times. Its on a team by team basis though. Playing with rando people has its difficulties. Mainly people going off and doing their own thing and splitting off. Thats usually when we lose. For example today i had a team on derailed who hid in a tiny objective building for like 3-5 mins cuz they didn’t want to come out and i was outside running around disabling alarms and running to the next objective area. I had to fight off the predator by myself for a while because they don’t want to do anything but hide. We lost when i got killed and the pred rushed in and combisticked them all down cuz they were huddled together.
Overall yes ive won a lot mixed of killing pred, outrunning blast radius and choppa escapes.
It’s a video game people, not everyone has to act like they are an MLG predator player. It’s just for fun. Some people get off work and just want to destroy some fire-team booty as Berserker for a couple rounds and then go to bed. S’a video game people.

So to play a video game for fun for a few rounds I need to tell four friends to spend 40$ each, get 300$ ps4’s, and then get off work at the same time as me to play a couple rounds? Ridiculous. That’s not what the game is for. Who cares if I destroy 4 random people online for 15 minutes and then never have play with them again most likely? This community is a bunch of babies fr. The nature of the video game is to have fun, not to play so seriously like you wouldn’t get dinner if you didn’t win.

who cares? the people who you destroy… an if you can then so can others and it becomes the only thing people do. over and over. and if you are on the recieving end of that its no fun either.

Agree, and its fun if its fair.
But that’s the way the game is in it’s current state, so it’s fair. If they change it to where the berserker is nerfed, then that would then be the nature of the game in that state, so yes, destroying fireteam as berserker wouldn’t be fair, but in said reality it also wouldn’t be an option.

It al depends on the skills on the player being the pred and the ft. The reinforcement is not garbage, maybe you should try to get better

i agree its a lot to do with skill of the fireteam and pred.
But if the beserker with combistick is an outlier with way too many wins then i also believe is should be better ballanced in some way.
If its all about strength and power and tank then nerf its energy so it cant cloak very long or fire many plasma shots or whatever.
The devs will have the stats. im not saying nerf because i cant beat it. i know i suck at parrying, iv seen people parry that beserker over and over and destroy it. but i cant time it. so dont nerf it for me… nerf it only if it needs it based on the stats.
Before the patch it felt harsh when they all came back, but it feels right now the pred is working better,

It’s still way to early for that. The teams that destroy zerker will only benefit from the change right now. We just need the rest to get with the melee mechanics. And if they can’t, lets say in the next 40 or so days then IF will need to look at how to make parrying easier (hopefully with a very small cooldown rather than stamina drain)

yeah i definitly think it needs more time. the next patch needs to focus on bugs and QOL
