So I’ve stopped playing......but here is my feedback

I’ve actually stopped playing several days ago as I’ve had too much of a good thing, but I wanted to post this feedback to help improve this awesome game.

As there is a slim chance Illfonic might read this, I would like to say:

  • Please make it so matches have to last the full 15mins for FT…them blazing through objectives in 5 mins and choppering out of there does not make for a good hunting experience.

  • Please find a way to split up good FT groups that stick together like glue (which is partly what makes them good…but not a lot of fun for Pred). What about an objective where two switches have to pushed at the same time at opposite sides of the base?

  • Is there an way to either offer much more incentive — or even force Predator — to draw out the hunt longer? This would stop the temptation of Predator rushing the game. Perhaps a ‘hunt meter’ that has to be filled up before Predator is allowed to make a kill? Or Predator can only kill someone after a 3 mins cooldown from killing previous FT member.

  • What about being able to play some kind of Fortnite lobby training ground while we wait for matchmaking, even if it’s just BOTS? At which point what about offering people the option to play a normal game with BOTS when the matchmaking timer reaches 5 mins (places can be refilled with human players as time goes on maybe)?

  • The stamina bug where Pred’s stamina refills super slow has caused those who suffer it plenty of moments of grief. I’ve lost games because of it…can no longer leap out of a perilous situation resulting in second wind (still can’t leap because of the bug) and then death.

Those issues aside, thank you Illfonic for making an awesome Predator experience! All the best in the future, I’ll be back when the DLC comes out.

Very good points. I believe throughout the forum we have good posts with good suggestions to enhance the playability and longevity of the game.

I’d also suggest:
A) Game modes

  1. Remaych option
    After a match, all members of the lobby are presented with an option to vote and get a rematch—by rematch I mean more of “play again” with the current members and not necessary a chance for the “losing” party to have a chance to win, but you got a match with public randoms despite the outcome if all memebrs enjoyed the group they can opt to a rematch—
    This would avoid after a match disbanding, and going through matchmaking, placing, etc.

  2. 3-match-game
    Predator players would benefit from this the most.
    As you you know that the queueing time now would pay off with at least 2 matches. The team winning 2 rounds win the set. This would increase playing time rather than queueing time.

B) Objectives for the Predator

  1. For instance, take the scenario that the Predator ship crashed on the jungle and the equipement of the Predator is scattered through the crashing path.
    Now as a Predator you’re only with the bio-mask and your wrist blades–you could anyway locate the FT and take them down with this minimal set, or on you map you’d have a section of the jungle highlighted where you could search for the Kombistick, Plasmacaster, and as you pick those weapons you get XP and the kills with such weapon will give back more XP

  2. Kill specific NPCs for different trophies/XP (Optional)
    Have some NPCs with special armours in difficult place to infiltrate, heavy guarded and set it as an objective to the Predator to infiltrate it and kill giving NPC for an exquisitive trophy.
    Predator should be able to to this optional mission despite downing all FT members as long there’s time in the match

I know these options might sound silly to most of you but a suggestion wouldn’t kill I guess ;D take it easy

Even if they read the countless amazing posts on this forum about balancing and fixing, they wont do anything. They cant even be bothered to sound off about anything, they are gone 100% Hello Games.

I understand why people write long posts about fixes, but at this point it is completely moot, Illfonic isnt gonna use any of it. They seem confused about their own game, and i dont expect them to do anything othert ahn minor patches and fixes.

So yeah, its a damn shame, but they are asking for the game to die at this point, and i really dont know why. IS this a cashgrab to them?

We dont know, and they never say.

I hope they dont have time to respond to this, because they are 2 busy fixing bugs.
But thats naive i suppose…

Oh no worries,they dont respond to anything in the forums.

They are the developers, but they arent in here, at all. They use Twitter to hype up the game as much as they can, thats it.

Yeap, absolutely. IllFonic has a rather peculiar way to communicate with their community.

Of course I do not expect they reading all posts or any post for that matter yet I, for one, feel that sharing ideas even if it’s only to other members to read and provide their opinions is valid–somehow we ‘bound’ via the forum.

I see it as a social media where we got people with same passion for Predator Universe, so we can discuss all topics over here, but surely IllFonic lacks the softskills when engaging with their audiance.
