So is this ever getting a steam release

I have a few friends who badly want to play, but will not touch it until it’s on steam. Anyone know the odds of it ending up on steam at any point?

The developers would know, but they are worthless when it comes to any useful communication.

There’s at least one Steam directory and file included in the EGS installation, so it was being worked on at some point. Timed EGS exclusives are usually very mum on the subject until the contract window has ended though (may be one of the conditions). We’ll probably find out around the one-year mark, which is what I’m holding out for at this stage.

I strongly suspect it will at some point, just because it’ll be free money when they do, they are probably in an Epic-exclusive period right now though. Hopefully there will be more content and the game will be balanced a bit better before it hits a steam release though, so here’s to hoping the devs can get some good balancing and content in the next few months (assuming it’s 1 year exlusive for epic).

Yeah, my rationale (after refunding the EGS purchase) was that it’ll probably come to Steam in a much more polished state, most likely bundled with most or all of the DLC as well. I can’t imagine they’ll wait any longer than a year though, otherwise they risk losing momentum and also a shrinking PS4 player base.
