So like, does the company just not respect the consumers at all? We have bugs that have been in the game since beta and are still here, and what is the answer we get to these problems? More paid DLC that also comes with more bugs that don’t get fixed and when there ARE attempts to fix them, it just makes it worse and then the team calls it quits and leaves it like that. The predator rebreather mask was being unequippable for almost half a year outside of doing a bunch of nonsense with deleting the game and reinstallling and some other tricks to it. I crash in almost every match and I’m told “Oh yeah, you need to get a PS5. I don’t have those problems.” Like…what? I have to buy a whole new gaming console just to get a 2-dimensional game, where more often than not the models are T-pose sliding all over the place, just to function?
It’s been about two months now and the exile predator’s predlocks still hadn’t been bothered to be fixed even after there’s been numerous forum post about it, but like every other bug…it won’t be patched until like seven paid DLCs later and it’ll come with MORE bugs that will take its place. And it doesn’t help that there’s a tyrannical forum administrator (you all know exactly who I’m referring to) that hands out literal century-long bans and suspensions just for fun; for instance: One of my friends got a suspension from this admin that doesn’t end until the year of 3051, and all because he told a female player to stop complaining about trash talkers in the game because it’s…ya know…the internet? It’s like…expected and just something you get used to? Somehow that was worthy of him getting a long-time ban with the reasoning being titled as “Disrespecting others”. Although from what I’ve read, my bud isn’t the only one that’s gotten basically trolled by someone that’s supposed to be representing the company, and it just goes the show the overall integrity of the company. And it doesn’t stop there…nah, this admin actually has favorites in the forums who they’ll overlook as these players say the most toxic, wonton stuff that boarders onto psychotic levels of violence and because they’ve kissed up to this admin, they get away with it–but if you retaliate, you’re catching that ban and they’ll even go out of their way to delete their pseudo-pet’s comments just to paint you as the aggressor, so not only is the game on fire but the forums is also corrupted by someone on a power trip.
At this point, I’m done. I’ve quit playing for two months and then reinstalled today just to see if anything changed…the game’s just stuck in time; stuck in time of being an unattended mess, and what has been the solution? More and more paid DLC with bugged cosmetics. Are they doing anything about the exploits that players abuse? No. Are they doing anything about the PC hackers that will literally make you fall to your knee as the predator as soon as the match starting cutscene of you roaring ends while they’re on the other side of the map, sniping through objects and terrain to defend your corpse (not even the worst I’ve seen)? No. And it’s at this point, I’ve realized fully that gaming companies today have just realized they don’t have to respect the consumer at all anymore; they know they can give us unfinished garbage that shouldn’t even be legal to put on the market unfinished, and throw out paid DLC to make a quick buck. Honesty and truly, I and everyone else deserve a full refund; this is truly shameful.
And with this, I quit entirely. I’m sure this whole post is just going to get deleted by the mentioned admin anyway, as they’ve been shown to be the silencer of criticism.
