Modified Reserves was already a staple perk for most of my builds especially my two scouts and of course the biggies with their low energy pools but the new buff to the perk seems to actually be a really good thing.
Just from a small bit of testing mind you but Scout now has Infinite energy while cloaked and in thermal without light bender(strangely while not in thermal cloak drains but very slowly)
Hunter with MR and LB now has energy regen when just cloaked and a very slow drain while in thermal and cloaked.
Elder has what seems to be infinite cloak while not in thermal as well without the need of bender but I would assume with it, it would behave the same as hunter.
But as usual it would seem this did not come without our favorite side dish to any update bugs, it would seem with CH and with Elder it does not accurately show the depletion of energy when cloaked or using PC while cloaked the bar does not move at all until you uncloak then it deducts the energy you actually used from your bar and you now have to wait for it to recharge, furthermore before you ask you can still enter overload but you just cant SEE how close to it you are until you uncloak.
I am still running tests with other classes to see how the new MR affects them BUT overall this particular buff despite its apparent issues seems like an actual good change for preds across the board and at least they didn’t make it cost 5 points like my beloved Dithered…did me dirty dirty on that one Illfonic…

The only time energy was ever hard to manage was pre-fix Jungle Hunter at launch lol
Not really disputing that but this change does slightly allow for different playstyle and strategy not by much but it is a Good quality of life upgrade amidst a sea of meh ones. IMO. And it def is a welcome addition to my Scout Along with the reduced cost of PC shots.
