Pretty much as stated. Figured id try it out. Like 6 strikes (slow ones at that) and someone still isint down? Why even drop weapons if they aren’t viable

Did you know you have two different attacks? You can attack fast with katana.

Ok ok I did not know this perhaps I’m too quick to judge. Does it seem like it takes a lot of hits to down?

I warned you and that was just because of how easy it is to parry

LT(heavy) and RT(light) both do attacks. Mix em up for lightning fast combos. I wasn’t a fan at first but katana is beast. I never really counted how many hits but you can down em in a few seconds.

I find the tracking on it is garbage. Elder sword way better.

Facts. I played too much Shadow of War so people dying in a few hits feels weird.

Being able to kill the enemies just as quickly as they can kill you makes the sword feel so satisfying

I still maintain the katana is a great weapon. I use exclusively on scouts and recon. Get in, hit once or twice, and get out. Bleed them of their med packs. It’s the type of play style that is a war of attrition. Long and slow game…
Been playing this for the last few hours and I am just not a fan of the weapon tracking. Idk I feel like Sekiro has a way better combat system. Nonetheless it’s a great game so far.
That’s fair enough. As long the sword goes where I want it to go consistently, them I’m happy.
