I think they should just come in as grunt soldiers with a set default loadout, but other than that i dont have a problem with it.
Most fireteams die to some bow damage into combistick throw into slam.
If i couldnt kill and let them respawn id just be poking the whole match with the bow until the chopper and getting bored.
I still don’t understand how the parry works. Do i need to pull my knife out and then keep pressing the stab button? Or do i have to press the parry button? Or do both options work?
You dont HAVE to pull out the knife, the standard melee button works; for some reason i find it easier to actually pull out the knife though.
So yes i pull out the knife and try and time the attack button with their animation, sometimes i do well… sometimes i dont XD im still practicing.
I have had a couple games were iv parried a berserker 5 times in a row but im gonna chalk that up to luck and not my own skill XD
And to parry is just the M1 button on pc or R2 button on console with the knife out.

I’m not so sure I can agree that the combistick is overpowered anymore. It should be a good weapon. It’s in most the movies, and it gives the melee focused predators a little more range and crowd control. Now that it’s DPS is more reasonable, I feel like it’s in a good place.
If they focus on objectives and nothing else, no matter what you will do either have to kill them on heli extraction point or do partial team wipe (some may escape), as 3-4 minutes isnt enough (DBD syndrome, not enough objective time sink for FT).
And that is not the issue by itself.
A good teamwork of 4 people should nullify/counter attempts of a good predator. That’s balance.
Won’t deny, there are issues with balance, mostly on FT side and a lot of geometry that causes predator to become stuck on terrain or in interactions (happens a lot).
The game I will record later this day (or tomorrow, as I’m busy now), will be more about being able to harass and constantly deal damage to FT while being very close to them and not be vaporized, as a lot of people claim to (being mobile and moving a lot). I avoid the sitting in trees with a cloak and trying to snipe people or going melee against 4 facepalming FTs that are unloading all their guns into me.
Also, I do not go for full team wipes unless I see them being at the heli. I prolong games as it gives me more XP per game and queues are long enough that I’m not up for 4 minute games where I need to sit in menu for 5-8 minutes.

Yuns are going to keep calling the Combistick OP until its removed from the game, then you’ll just start calling something else OP…
FT Logic: loses once after 10 perfect games. “PRED IS OP! THAT WEAPON IS OP!! THIS WHOLE GAME IS OP!!!”

I’d like to see it as well. As I’d prefer the stealthy archer type of predator play style as well.
I think my biggest mistake is I stay in one spot for too long shooting too many arrows. Although there are other times where it seems like the FT spot me before I can fire off a single arrow.
I play on PC but prefer to use a controller. I see guys like Cartoonz on YT utilizing the bow pretty well, and that was before they buffed it.
Now that I can actually hold a charged bow for lining up a good shot my chances of landing a hit have gone up significantly. I suppose I just have to work on being more mobile and not staying in one place for too long.
make it so that the ft can pick up pred gear. ah you threw your disk and missed , now i will use it on you. you thew your stick and missed let me go bananas on you like a beserker.
The pepol saying scout is uselesse dont know what they are talking about. All best predator player play Scout, its fuking more fun, Sometime i destroy the FT just using smart disk and plasma canon and my brain, thats so much better like this, than berzerker combistik idiot runing into FT And most of the time claim one guys/ second Wind and get killed by a FT member falowing him on the wood lol…

The issue is, I’m not playing stealthily with Scout. I try to overhelm the FT with my presence rather than avoid being detected, making them unsure from which side I will attack few seconds later.
Well, honestly, I would compare my playstyle to the scout from Team Fortress 2 or that google wearing lesbian in skin tight leggings (forgot her name) from Overwatch.
Probably. I try not to comment on scout cause i never played as scout… looks too squishy…
Yeah a persons personal play style does make a huge difference when trying classed.
My problem is, i don’t die very often, but any kills i get are HARD AF to get… lol
Fun Fact: Elder sword has the highest dps of all meele weapons
so all you crying about Combistick doing too much dmg seem to miss their point here
But elder sword isn’t named Combistick, so it gets s pass… lol
