It seems like nobody is at all hyped about that. I know everyone is waiting for the new map and game mode but City hunter is also nice but yeah. Hmmm we will see what we get today, hopefully some bugs fixes and maybe new shadders and skins for the fireteam, OHHH HELL YEAH THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!

I am hyped, but also aware that technically for me today won’t be his real debut as I won’t be able to use it much. 30-40min queues minimum…yea, not gonna happen

The forum is going to be swamped with ppl complaining about waiting for games and broken lobbies,
Predator queues are going to go from 6-10 min. to 15-25 minutes and I fear it is going to be, like with the updates so far, that new bugs will come with new patches.
Hoping for a positive surprise, but not expecting it…

Not hyped at all.
Broken balance, same old issues. Game was fun at beta, it was also fun (though less fun) at release, but now it’s just a boring piece of shit. Even Pred can’t save it. There are many online games that give more fun and don’t try to sell you a new DLC every single fuking month.

Just out of curiosity what online games can go more than a month without dlc?
Without paid dlc. For honor (battle pass was added like only 4 months ago though the game is 3 years old, and you buy it only once in 3 months, contains ONLY cosmetics, nothing like “samurai” or “dutch”) has only 1 paid DLC (Marching Fire). Overwatch. Conan Exiles/Ark Survival (have DLCs, but not 1 per month and WAY more content, than PHG). Some free2play MMOs. Games like Elite: Dangerous or No Man’s Sky (though the last one not so online-oriented).
Back to business, PHG is a kinda stub of a game in terms of content/money spent on it. They sell it like a “normal game” for $40, but can you compare it with something like GTA5 for instance? Witcher 3? Or even another conveyor’s Assassin’s Creed? Now they are adding new “content” like Dutch and Samurai (for money ofc, though these DLCs aren’t expensive). But it’s not the amount of content they weren’t able to add at release (4+3 classes at release, rly?), so they just decided to sell this content twice. Right now they want more money. What for? Making shitty servers working?
There are games that are free to play and have better content than that. We need new mode, new maps and ranked system asap or the game will die. The real problem is that illfonic developers already know that but they will still make more money buy selling their paid predator dlc and don’t fix any bug. Thats because they saw from forum that 90% are retards that Will buy instantly all the pred dlc and don’t care about 20 min queue or playing fireteam. I lost all the hope for this game. The only good dlc was dutch, but was still boring without a proper ranked system to search predator game in 3/5 min and win those in 2/3 mins.
Its where great people like you who are players not fans. We need more like you so that we can feel useless for being fans! ~clap.

I don’t know what a ranked system could offer, besides even longer queue because you can only play with a smaller part of the playerbase anymore.
All I know is there better be some kind of news to go along with this update like when the maps will be released or around when.

Ranked system with rank that is based on both sides (not only pred or ft) will help a lot the queue time, plus you will play agaisnt people with similar skill and not agaisnt bots of ps4 or against fps pro players that kill you in 1 minute. It will help also for the longevity of the game because you can play for grinding your rank and not only for the boring daily challenge.
Still don’t understand how it could help the queue times. But it might be a problem that I’m just one of those guys that despise “competitive mode” or “ranked” labeled as some type of actual content to the game. Same as I’ll never see the “New Game +” trend to be actual content.
But whatever… the huge majority seems to be craving for those things nowadays.

I think it will help by making the queue system to force people to play both sides, that is the most important thing for decreasing the wait time (since all people want to play only predator). Rank also gives a motivation for the more experienced players to keep playing for one goal (reaching higher rank or something). In my opinion it could help a lot.
Im not hyped about it cause its going to fk up the matchmaking time even more upto 15min avg but probably 25 min or 30…
