funny im watching the show. first season 4 episodes in. Its very expensive and great looking…but still trash. Concept wise its growing on me but in a very network TV kind of a way.
I realized it had a long gaming history but ive never touched it. It fell into the cracks of the culture.
Bioshock, Farcry…all these are in the same boat.
Max Payne however is far more iconic.

how the hell did fallout have so many through out the years? Literally on every plastform imaginable. They must have had very wealthy funders.
i mean i never even touched Half Life or HALO either but i heard of it.
AAA games for me only. most of the time. i never touched either of those titles.
I barely rented games, when i buy games I resell them. probably why i only gravitated towards more popular titles.
Should have modded out your consoles and added an extra drive for storage. I’d go and rent games, copy them, return them, and continue to play for free. Those were good titles too.

i did. PS2 was modded and so was PS1. But ps3 …did not so i bought second hand and sold them.
So with PS4 Pro games. I played so many titles but literally sold 99 % of them
Anyways, episode 6 in and i’m warming to it.
Its got a huge scope and ambition though.
Acting is great.
Musical score/musical selection and all the audio engineering is top billing!
Visual effects are extravagant as hell. Like right up there with feature film.Either the technology now is making it simple to do or they spent quite the bill on this tv show.
Got to say that Season 2 needs more work on actually keeping the audience engaged…now it doesn’t matter how elaborate the scenes are …it needs to be more impactful., I find myself in a state of disbelieve and having to watch 2 episodes after 2 months have passed. It is harder and harder when the universe opens up too much and they haven’t figured out the purpose of season1 as it hasn’t been resolved.
I don’t know why games need to be shows when games are already better at telling stories
they want too much shit in the show, they should just focus on certain things. Its stupidly compex for just a few episodes into 2nd season.

There is lots of back story, not much of the present story being pushed forward. I’d rather just binge watch it when it finishes the season. and that I don’t even know how far in they are.
I finished peaky blinders (all of the seasons) and shit that show is depressing as fuck. I don’t even know how i got through it all. Boredom maybe.
I started watching Agency with Massbender in it. It too, kind of slow.
Well I guess it only implies for fans of the games I suppose
