Original i thought he was complete butt cheeks. But I’ve had some level of success today with this build. I’ve had about 4 kills, 3 kills each game ive done. sometimes if I was lucky i would get everyone. But it wasnt like that day 1 where i blew up 4 times trying him out. I used impenetrable, large pouch, and long jump. But now i use this.
Anyone have any other ideas for perks and maybe weapon swaps i think maybe net gun but the pistol is good with bear traps.
Is the Batlle Axe Heavy melee the move where he jumps and strikes downward? .
I always run impatient, fearless, and large pouch.
My build, The ViKing is similar, I just run the bow instead of plasma pistol because I like the look of bow on Viking. It is also really fun to secondary on the axe for big damage, then if FT is coordinated and shutting me I finish off with a bow shot. If not, secondary again and claim. I find that that strategy works really well, and yesterday I got 4 wins with him to only 1 self destruct. Here is my load out, The ViKing:

It strikes me as odd that they couldnt have given him more moves.
I might use fearless because you don’t really need down range for the plasma pistol.
Yes, the primary light attack isn’t that good right now, but I made a constructive post on that for the devs. Secondary is a beast though.

I have heard mixed results on the forum, I personally don’t use it just because it doesn’t fit my play style that well compared to some other perks. I might have time today to test it out.
I stopped using when supposedly it was broken. impatience is my top pick. But I just want to know so i can make the weaker predators viable a little

With his speed I opt for medic. Too easy to get chased down with a Scout or Recon when you break off or get second winded
Good idea. I’ll definitely mess around with different perks but i just got elder so I’m going to try him
They have to increase the HP of the Viking up to 1700 to be viable, the Berserker is just better because of the speed. In that game when fireteam has hitscan weapon, speed is needed.
Against potatoes on PS anything works and at this point after they had that dumb idea with the cloak they are trying to fix it for them. The fix is more damage. I did 3 games today and it was nothing but frustrating.
In 1 game I was fighting the predator in 1 on 1, 2 of them showed up (I did not need help) but they started shooting and instead of hitting the predator, they got a damn barrel right next to us and down me. For some reason he decided to do a long claim on me (perhaps a bug) and he finished it and this 2 guys where not capable of putting him into second wind before he was done… They somehow reinforced me later and we won.
Another game and 1 was trapped for most of a game in a trap since he had no clue how to get out even after I was trying to explain to him on mic, perhaps he did not speak English, no idea…
Last one was with 3 other PC players against a PC pred. 1 other guy on my team was competent and the poor predator would just come to us, run away with low health until he did not see me sneaking up to him as he was fighting another dude and I placed him in second with so damn fast. He tried to run but I’ve jumped down to him and on his wait another guy form my team was there and he died in his second wind.
This people ignored the feedback we provided and the buffs they gave are horrible for predators when fighting premade teams and completely useless for potatoes. The damage does nothing for them since they can’t hit shit.
