Just watched a video stating how @Courier is in hot water for “false advertising” on the crossplatform party play…
Anyone have anymore info on this and what it means as someone who’s basically lived off this game for the past 2 months…

I wouldn’t worry. Shit like this happens in video games all the time. It’s mostly just Sony and Epic Games not playing well. Because for all we know, Crossplay Parties could very much could be finalized or even added. Like how other games say content will be there at Launch, but added later.
Just feel that we are getting excited for a DLC, but if this falls through I am just hoping we dint get a repeat F13 situation…

Sounds as if IllFonic knowing Epic has their strong IP list, they could piggy back off that stuff?
Probably expecting IllFonic to make their own crossplay platform at this point possibly.
Hopefully they can do it and everything gets smoothed out!

Really hope they just add cross platform I agree it was false advertising since they stated it would be available at launch but who knows I have posted a few things asking about it i havent got more then one response for each post.
Just scary to hear it summed up in a video especially from someone who’s kept their eye on this game.
Yeah, every game company does this. Example the Last of Us 2 very big case of this, so much so that the game that was released was completely different from what was advertised. Plus this feature is coming and is planned to be released, it just has issues they’re fixing so any lawsuit that is attempted will fail
