I figure we’ll start a bunch of threads first praising, then criticizing Illfonic. They’ll get praise for the update but after a few hours it will mostly be, ‘what we should have gotten over a year’ over the year.

to be fair, PHG made up most of my spring and summer and winter last year. so feeling like no other game actually did that except maybe valhalla. But its not quite the same.
Can PHG do it again this year?

We’ll have an in-game event, Preds plasma caster turns into a confetti cannon, Fireteam will be neon coloured with Party hats, boars would have party hats and a skin of them being a slice of cake, and AI would have party poppers and party hats. Mud would turn into bright coloured face paint. Audio decoys play party music, and when a Pred is downed and it blows up, on the cutscene pieces of candy will be flying everywhere. Preds blood would also be rainbow coloured.

Personally I will probably just skip the praising part and get straight to the bashing , if they do something that proves me wrong? It would be a pleasant surprise, from past experience I just don’t put all my eggs in one basket when it comes to this game , sadly . I liked the beta and preordered , I almost always played until November December I gave up for a couple of months as it just had too many issues I am enjoying it alot more now admittedly, but I put that down to I have found a small group where it is fun to play as a team
Everyone takes a picture of their FT or Pred. Then we find someone to photoshop hats and phome fingers/whatever else. Then put everyones characters in one picturr. Boom community forums photo. 👌 we can be a terrible high school graduation photo. With that one person blocked out.
Having people to play with makes a huge difference for a lot of people. This game is fun with friends.
I try to lean more into constructive criticism than bashing myself. I don’t think they have a lot of choice about how things are scheduled and balance is always going to be based off random’s in Hunt, why be mad at what they have to do to maintain the player base.
Lately I tend to think a new mode would be the best thing to hope for. Maps seem to be locked into a regular, if too long cycle, characters and other Dlc too. So either a new mode, that gives competitive players an outlet or an offline way to use the characters we buy. Maybe I don’t want to play as a football guy or buy a second Dutch but I’d likely buy them if I could hunt even NPC versions of the characters.
Who said I am mad at them for not maintaining a playerbase? I’m pointing out its something they let slip through their fingers, its going to hurt them in the long run . If I was mad it would be at the state the game has been in on and off . Ps4 had blue screen crashing for weeks, they have done a poor job with this title
We will do what we’ve always done. We will wait for the update, bitch at the devs, praise the update, critique the update, settle into new meta. Just what we’ve always done.
As a community I’d imagine we might have a thread of things we’re doing maybe showing off Predators, gameplay clips, or even merch.
