Even tho there is a stream, They have done this in the past where they just Stream to stream!
Maybe we are getting a lvl cap increase! And Isabella is the reward lol! Probably not but who knows lol!!

Unlikely.
Right before the last live stream someone on the subreddit asked if illfonic could/would do more livestreams for more/better interactions with the community.
Someone from illfonic did respond by saying it’s an idea they’re looking into and would like to do. So I’m guessing we’re going to see more livestreams than updates in the future.
Not necessarily a bad thing, and not necessarily the case either. My guess is no update

They are probably cautious to stream because they would get ripped if it was bug filled games

I think it was more they wanted to devote time to QA/QC and bug fixing so didn’t leave a lot of time and budget to promotional thing like livestreams. Now that they feel they’re better on track that’ll change.
Just my guess.
If only they would have some breadcrumbs for us in regards to ANYTHING they are working on.
Yes they have to stay tight lipped, yes there are a tons of hands in the IP pot.
BUT
Wouldn’t shareholders and folks involved want this game to have some form of momentum? Some form of hype instead of a surprise drop of something we all sorta turn a blind eye to?
Would love if they:
- Actually teased things weather it be plays on words.
- Playing with stuff we don’t have yet, in hopes we can look forward to new content that CANT be talked about. Doesnt mean you can’t “tease” it and make the community go mad.
- Maybe even make some cool dev gear that you guys play with and we could maybe see you guys playing in the jungle (if you guys do pubs).
Idk man.
So much room for possible surprises and to actually build up hype.
Only to be iced with:
“Stick it in the forums”, “we are so excited about what’s to come, but we can’t show or any anything about it”.
Here’s to hoping they learn from previous streams and hopefully toss us some juicy… ANYTHING?!

I can’t argue you that whipping up this fanbase is pretty easy. It would take next to nothing to get the playerbase fired up over new content. A literal screenshot or well placed hint would have the hard-core fans climbing the walls.
Just look at the responses and the excitement the leak archive generates, and let’s not even talk about the roadmap silhouettes (people are still disappointed and upset there’s no Isabelle and no explanation).
I don’t know who’s in charge of the gag order on this games development but they’ve just about shot their own foot off at this point. Sony, Disney, Illfonic, whoever it is needs to lighten it up just a little and watch the magic.

That’s why I feel like this is on a “momentum train” we can’t control.
New pred movie coming out, very little marketing done for this game as is.
Banking on them thinking there is gonna be cross pollination when it comes to marketing down the road, THEN they will put their foot on the gas.
Burning folks out on pred stuff before the movie could hurt its numbers.
BUT
If they literally dropped the correct stuff, either all at once or in the right order, this game could sweep the gaming market. EASY.
I know at least 10 guys willing to put another mortgage on their house to buy pred stuff (joking, but sorta not lol), this game included.
