Obviously it is much better than the trial weekend, but I would have thought that the only part I really hated would have been “fixed” for lack of a better word.
I’m talking about the customization/loadout part of the game. Now I usually queue the moment I launch or get out of a game because I don’t want to be waiting for long. While I do wait I open any field lockers I have and this is the first EOLU I would like, the ability to look at/equip what you just got immediately. Like in Overwatch, I open the crate and can click/press the x button to look at and equip if I want it would save me the time of having to go into the loadout screen.
And here is the 2nd EOLU I’ve moved it up from 4th and it comes from weapon attachments and how I can’t see how the attachment will effect the weapon stats. Does the suppressor make the weapon do less damage and exactly how much damage does the weapon do? (Also how much health does each Predator have?) Because it feels like it and if so show that to me. Does any of the attachments lessen movement speed? I don’t know because it doesn’t show it. I mean at the very least tell me it in the description. And the same goes for perks I’d like to see what is actually going on statically before I get in a match, how much more xp because it feels like 1 more for everything when using Efficient, how many more gear uses with Gearhead, how much longer does my spot past for with Tracker?
3rd EOLU is here! The ability to select your loadout while in the helicopter/whatever the predator’s cinematic is(in my opinion it should be the predator in a drop pod). I’ve been placed in game after game where I want to use my 2nd loadout but the game defaults to the 1st loadout.
4th EOLU I would love to see, loadout customization in a pre-game lobby. This will become less of an annoyance for those who have more loadouts but at level 1 it’s frustrating to have to see that your team have no perks equipped because they didn’t know they had any. Or when you accidentally change something in the loadout screen and get put into a game and have to leave the lobby to get everything the way it was and then queue again. And it would work like any COD game.
5th EOLU actually has nothing to do with customization, huh. Radios, are we not an elite group of military operatives? Because the last time I checked soldiers in the field have short range radios on them in case they ever get split up. I can’t even say how many times I have to plan the game around splitting the team so we can get the objective done and exfil all within the first 15 seconds of the match because I can’t hear my team if the are more than 10 feet from my ears.
6th EOLU is dedicated to the end game scoreboard. I’d love to see how much health everyone had and a breakdown of sorts about the scores. Something like who dealt the most damage the Predator, who completed the most objectives, who revived the most people (and I don’t mean reinforcements, I mean pick me up I’m dying here).
7th EOLU regards the tutorial. I think it should be mandatory and should include a Fireteam tutorial that teaches about defusing, mudding up, reinforcements, shooting the mask off of the predator, second wind for the predator, the mimicry/taunts as the Predator, and what the Yautja code is. I know it sounds stupid but to many people don’t know how to do these simple mechanics.
8th EOLU while the red light vs blue light is cool when I’m trying to look at what I want to look like the red light washes out the colors on the Predator.
