Hey everyone, first I want to say I’m enjoying the game very much and I hope you all are too. That being said, I know the community would like some balancing and I know I’ve seen a lot of good ideas on the forum, so I thought I would throw mine into the mix. Let me know what you think, I would like to continue this discussion and maybe give the devs feedback on what the community would like to see as far as balance.
Friendly Fire :
I would like to see some type of Friendly Fire, Would cause for more tension in the gameplay as fireteam. Would help pred from getting mini-gun spammed. Maybe something along the lines of not full damage Friendly Fire, and Fire team members can not kill one another just bring them to 10hp to keep from trolling.
Fire Team Objectives:
The objectives/mission should have the Fireteam travel the entire map, to each base/campsite/town. As predator it’s frustrating to have a team sit inside 4 corners of a building an entire match until the chopper is called. This suggestion may extend the gameplay and allow more opportunities for the pred to “hunt”.
Fire team speed :
The Fire team is as fast as the pred with certain perks and knife equipped. Perhaps faster stamina drain on Fire team would help. Making sprinting more of a decision. Having to rest before leaving a base as to make sure stam is topped. Make for more compelling/strategic travel/gameplay.
Spot Spamming :
Spot/Ping system is being abused in game currently. Perhaps a 30second cool down, and a perk that cuts that in half. Would love to see suggestions on this.
Class load outs :
I personally would like fireteams to only have one of each type of class.This would make choice of gear/perks matter much more. Adding more strat/preparation on fireteam side.
Gear/Perks:
Tweak costs. Make it so a support is a true support and can be the only one to carry ammo packs AND Medkits. Everyone runs ammo/med-kit. There’s an abundance of ammo and medkits in the game. Leading me to the next idea.
Gear/Ammo/Health Stash:
As it stands there are A LOT of them, and the pred can destroy them early game which is perfect. But as I said earlier, a fire team may be able stay in one spot all match and never have to travel to the camp That the pred had spent his early game destroying stash’s in preparation. Having the fire team travel to each site, rewards pred for preparing, puts pressure on fire time For lack of available world resources. ( this makes the fireteam actually strategize Resource/Gear management )
I know a lot of my suggestions have to do with the Fire Team. I think tweaks to the fireteam would help round out what pred players are saying about him not being strong enough. I personally like where the predator is at, I don’t think he needs a buff, but perhaps nerfing aspects of gameplay and the fireteam would help.
I really enjoy this game and I’d love to see some More constructive Community feed back. As it stands, regardless if you play fireteam or pred, match times are often quicker than the queue, And I for one would love to HUNT in longer matches as a pred, utilizing my tools and stalk rather than rush for kills because fireteams objective rush, or feel a great sense of achievement As a fire team member for my teams planning and prep having taking the pred down after long hard battles.
Any way, I know that was a lot but I’d love to hear what you all have to say. These are merely ideas, Playing as fireteam just feels boring to me already, would love more of a challenge, and more QUALITY Matches over QUANTITY matches.
