Some things I've noticed about the update

  • The Fireteam Bots seem to have been reverted back to the way they were before the recent updates, specifically in the way they melt the everliving fuck out of the Predator if you get close to them

  • The Fireteam Bots seem to have their old team configuration back (Assault, Scout, Support, Dutch 2025)

  • The Feral Combistick has been altered & it’s size/scale has been increased because it was smaller than the other 2 Combistick variants, the texture of the shaders also seems to be slightly different

  • The Crossbolt Gun turns into a fucking blue lightning conductor almost like a damn energy sift from the old AVP games after you fire it for the first time in a match & it remains that way for the rest of the match once bugged

  • The Plasma Pistol now appears to shoot Red(ish) Plasma instead of Blue Plasma

  • Feral’s Predlocks are now available in the Customisation menu

  • Scar’s biomask shaders are now back to normal & selectable again

These are all just a few things I briefly noticed upon loading into a Private Match by myself, I haven’t done any significant testing for bugs etc. And nor do I plan on doing so.

Yes. Dutch 2025 can spawn in as one of the Fireteam Bots.

I’ve noticed plasma laser light has been nerfed. Almost as dithered lens all the time. But i’m not sure. TBC.
Also FT can now hear plasma charge SFX. Confirmed.
AI now don’t spawn as crazy as last patch. Except when at the chopper when they spawn from everywhere including right next to FT.

You mean they can hear what the Predator player used to be able to hear when the Caster was charging up?

Yup. As far as i remember the exact sound. I don’t play as Pred in like 3 yrs. Lol

Hello brother, talking about the crossbolt gun. Yh I noticed that, everyone can see you using it. Even If you are behind a wall for example, the blue flash is reflecting. I liked the color change of the plasma pistol shot (well that wont change and add nothing so) Edit: the plasma charge sound can also be heard by FT. Idk If that is a Bug or a New mechanic made by them…

So basically the Fireteam can now hear whenever the Predator is charging the Caster & there is absolutely zero element of surprise for the Predator anymore.

Yh the Crossbolt Gun is just unusable now because of this bug.

I don’t mind the Plasma Pistol colour change either but yh it doesn’t impact gameplay in any way like you said.

I liked the blue better. When wolf used it in the movie, it was blue. Unnecessary change IMO.

I think they made the projectiles red so that’s it easier for the noobs to see it. All the reddit potatoes were complaining about the plasma pistol

Fair enough but phg pistol inst the same that wolf’s used on AVPR. So that change is “acceptable” but in overall you’re right. The blue shots reminded the plasma pistol from avpr

PHG Reddit users have got to be the dumbest & whiniest people on this game.

I swear there is a new topic created on there crying about ranged Predators, “sweats” and Plasma Pistol users every day.

Heck that one guy making a post entirely about me & my playstyle with it was a prime hilarious example of it😂
