Souls like games

So I played nioh after beating ghost of Tsushima and needed to scratch that supernatural side but instead I got a game I dunno how to play, like having a stamina bar for every little movement like dodging, moving and attacking (lol reminded me of the Predator in hunting grounds) I don’t know why games are going this direction it’s difficult for old guys like me who are use to being a total beast hacking and slashing, like in God of War but now to being a horrible player as a hero in the new Star Wars battlefront series

Maybe it’s the game your playing?

The OG God of War is drastically different from dark souls and it’s like (nioh) so maybe a hack and slash game is more your style

It’s because nioh is super gimmicky with its stamina system.

Like it tries way too hard to be difficult, so it ends up relying on gimmicks.

Its basically artificial challange instead of actual challange. I bought nioh 2 and the overly heavy focus on the ki pulse to regain stamina killed the enjoyment for me.

It’s a real shame too cause it’s a fun game.
It would of been a better game if it was like devil may cry or kingdom hearts.
